Where can I source the manual for the above car?
Its a ndf-01T chassis it seems.
Thanks

Yes its not the motors that will be the headacke but fitting a motor to the centre diff. For other nitro cars you get specific electric conversion kits.

Does any one have any info on conveting the Nitro Thunder to electric??

I am urgently looking for a TA03 Carbon battery plate set. (Pro)
Any help will be appreciated. I will pay a handsome price for it.

I run a normal 12t tamiya bl system and a 2s LiPo, Pinoin is about a 24t I think. I have tuned it down a bit, but comparing it to the other cars in the 4WD gr class I am very fast but in the corners it falls apart a bit. What if I move the batt way back also, More weight = more grip?? Its a TA03R allready.
Are there any good compounds out there to put on my tyres for asphalt for increased traction?. Remember I race tamiya cup rules, so only Tamiya type tyres are allowd.
Thansk again.

I know the TA03 is an old chssis but can someone help me setting up my car with a brushless system in it. It is ballisticly fast but on our tight track the behind is way to lose. I have fairly hard suspension up front and soft red springs at the back.

Guys
Is there a legal way to increase the performance of a sport tuned motor?? I use in tamiya cup races in my M03L.

Guys Thanks
I got all the answers I needed. With reference to Lee and OCD. How do I go about inserting pics? I want to show you guys how the belt tensioner works?
Thanks again.

. . . ok we are running in circles here. I will send you pics of what I'm talking bout in an hour or so.
I allready have the full carbon chassis conversion etc etc etc. I'm talking bout the carbon battery plate hop up conversion for the TA03.
I'll also send a pic of the belt tensoining system used with a full carbon chassis conversion.
Lee172 please send me a link to those posts, thank you.
Thanks TA-mark for the photo's. I'll try the one way up front. We are racing this Sunday and wil let yo know what happens.
Are all the Aramid fibre belts one size??
Regards and thanks again.

1. TA03F Pro Manual, Page 5, Step 4.
2. To use the carbon chassis plates on a base model TA03 kit you will also need the FRP chassis conversion set which has all of the mounting hardware included.
3. You should use the belt tensioner to adjust the belt tension. If the belt is so stretched the belt tensioner doesn't have enough adjustment, it might be time for a new belt.
4. The Tamiya original part is rare as hens teeth (as are most of the original Tamiya TA03 hopup parts). GPM has aftermarket TA03 alloy parts at Asiatees.com.
5. Try a wanted ad in the trades section, or in the wanted section of the forum.
Thanks one question answered. (no1) By the way, what will be the chararistics of putting the one way bearing up front or at the back?
I allready use the carbon chassis plates. So I should have all the mounting hardware, I do not know? If I can have a peek at the original instructions that came with this hop up part I may have an idea.
I use a small bearing to tension the belt.
THe heatsink has to be Tamiya. I only need the mount plate MB23.
Thanks for all the help.

I am a new member and I urgently need the following info:
- The instructions on the Torque splitter unit.
- The instructions on the Carbon Battery plate. How will this work? How does the battery gets fixed?
- To tighten my drive belt a bit, can I go for a bigger pulley either up front or at the back? E.g. 15T front and 16T back?
- Anyone knows where to buy a Tamiya Heat sink. Is there a site that does a lot of TA03 parts??
- Then the upper carbon plate for a TA03R ARF? The one where the servo sits on top of the battery. Is this available from someone? Even if secondhand.
Any help will really be appreciated.
Regards
