they are just hard to find , since marui ceased to make r/c cars in the late 80's , the supply has dried up ,and since they are a modified motor , they copped a flogging and proberly not many where rebuilt . if you want to sell yours let me know , i have a ship load of other brand modifieds but just want a 360rs to put in my shelf queen to st beside the galaxy rs .

i finaly found a half desent galaxy , the red roll cage version .. they came out with the ( mabuchi ) marui 360rs motor and silver rims . it needs a bit of work , but i have a heap of spares .. i just need a marui 360rs motor ! i have orded the wing as well as the new wing and body for my samurai ..

my poor old makinen evo was getting lonley so i have been on a rally car binge .. my castrol celica gt4 and my kyosho bodied , TL01 chassied ford focus rs and the el cheapo red bull citreon , chineese made body for my spare TA-02 chassis that i bought with the kyosho castrol toyota corolla body .

thats for that mark , never knew that .. for some reason , the kyosho kit didnt have the ford logo on the side .. but i found a ford decal set that will do the trick as the tamiya decals are a bit like looking for hens teeth ..

lately , rally cars have caught my eye , so i have been on the look out for a garagr mate for my makinen evo . i found this TL01 based ,kyosho bodied , ford focus rs cheap as .. it doesnt need a lot to clean up , a new set of rear rims is about it , plus i like the moviestar livery .. a bonus !i would like to post a pic of it but carn't find the link thingy to do it ? has the forum changed again ?

looks great .. but u better get rid of the words " ***** repo body " before twinset or another mod has a coronary over the use of the words .. cause its in the rules .. and rules is rules mate ! ..

there are a heap of other forums that offer advice and help and not just on the tamiya range . remember '' google '' is your friend ! ..

yeah , very frustrating !.. but .. most of my parts are here so i got stuck in to the clean up and rebuild . i stripped it down to it's component parts and give every thing a look over and clean .. not many problems but found a few more parts missing . i put the new tyres and rims on , after replacing those hated plastic bearings , reassembled the gear box and refit it , fine steel wool polished the alloy front shocks and polished up the rear shocks after replacing the broken mounting cap with one of a frog shock i had handy . i have put on the new battery door and just have to wait for the rubber drive shaft boots , a new bumper cause the original one is pretty hammered and trailing arm mounts to turn up .. next , is to paint the driver cover and the body and decal up the buggy . there it sits in organized kaos on the bench ! the wild one shocks with the frog cap on it , the same body and cap except for the cooling fins .

w00t! happy days ! my wild one turned up in the post today .. 4 weeks after i paid for it .. it was posted last monday ! but better late than never i suppose ! now the rebuild can begin , and i notice i will have to order a new roll cage too .. lucky for the re:re and jr-rc ..

the pics of the tracks brought back many happy remembers ! . we dont have any tracks any more in mackay , the shopping centre where the on road track was build a kfc on it and council built a basketball court/drug shooting galley on the off road track ..there is a 1/8th nitro track but its 10 bucks to run for a day and they dont like how the electric trucks and buggies are faster ..

??? good project for who ever ended up with it !! you reckon i should ask the seller that ripped me off with the wild one if he wants to buy my new parts cheap so he can pass them on ??

well , they say that if it looks too good to be true , it prolly isn't .......... i think i have been scammed . it's been 2 and a half weeks since i paid , by direct debit at the sellers insistance , and no wild one . it only has to travel 1000k's up the road and nothing , only contact from seller after 4 emails was ' i check with the wife ' 2 weeks ago on inquirey to when it was actualy posted .. i feel a bit gutted as i have all the parts i thought i needed to do it up . i was a bit sus about the direct debit thing but afterwards they said paypal was ok but didn't like the fee's .. i have put a claim in with ebay but cause its a direct debit payment , it will take a lot longer to go through , i have done one before .. every day i hope that they answer my emails or the postie drops it off .. ( insert sad face here ) ..

i have already done the seat for my twin willy jeep , i bought a 'rambo ' .50cal machine gun which is close in scale for 1/10 and use one on it plus the m3 '' grease gun '' machine pistol from a 1/10 scale paratrooper i used on my FAV i did awhile back ..

ahh , another man with a pair of willy's .. i wish i had a spare body to cut a seat out of for the passenger when i played around with my 2 willy's ! you going to arm them up or going the ''politicaly correct '' way ?

hey ! mongoose.... i'm still not talking to you !! THAT song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on the weekend while working on one of my real cars , a mate smacked me up side the head cause he was sick of me singing THAT song ! ..lol

i finaly got around to taking a pic or 3 of the finished manta . it was missing a few important bits like the all the gear shafts out of the gear boxes , the out drives for both boxes , the diff gears on both boxes , the body mounts , dog bones , drive shaft and most screws , not much ! .. . after digging around in my vast collection of bits and pieces all i needed to buy were the diff gears , a shaft kit and one set of bones ( thanks for rthe set of outdrives and drive shaft mcwee ! ) . i didn't realize how many little bits and pieces i had till i looked ! but thankfull i had them .. and i now know what i have ! ..lol i put on new tyres to finish the look as i think the buggy was result of an over hall to repair it but it got out of hand , only about 30% of the buggy seems used , the rest in new . i would have liked a silver manta like the box art but the green body is in beaut condition so i will live with it ..

hey redzone , you get the body yet ? i send it on the 7th and its only has to travel 800k's ? let me know when you get it ..
