  1. Aaaarrgh!

Missing some nuts, no big deal if the cheetah used metric screws and nuts... Anyone knows where to find those brass(?) nuts?

Also the torsion bars broke definitively so I need to convert into metal bars. I have everything I need except for 2 of the E10 parts (xr311 re-re). Already bought one E-tree to get a new upright. Would rather not buy another just for these tiny bits...

Most grateful if someone could help.

  2. Restoring an old cheetah and wonder if someone knows if the Y6 should be painted black? It's the pressed metal part that holds the front bumper. I even have the manual but it still riddles me. The separate parts list shows the part in bare metal. In the catalogue pic it looks black. Mine is black but the paint is in a poor state. Hope to find out if I need to paint it again or just remove paint and polish it a bit.

Please let me know if you have the answer:)

  3. There is a product available in the UK called Modelstrip, which is specifically designed for removing paint from plastic models. I used it on a 20 year old king Tiger body without any side effects (me or the shell) at all, and it works within 24hrs.

This sounds really interesting. Who is the manufacturer of this product?

  4. Sorry to thread hijack again but it's kinda relevant.

I'm pretty certain I'm going for the Tundra myself as Banzai are selling it for an absolute steal, my only worry is that it seems too cheap at £180 plus shipping compared to the like of Stella who are almost £100 more for the same thing.

Is Banzai reliable as most of their prices seem stupidly low?

Ordered a 350 and a tundra from banzai. Much faster delivery than Stella and way cheaper in total. But as someone already wrote, keep an eye on the shipping cost if ordering multiple items. And don't add small items when ordering a kit. Better to split the order. Will definitely use banzai again.
