  1. It will be well packed and sent by a reputable courier. I can check how much postage cost to USA if you are still interested?
  2. Hi MadManMike - Are you based in the UK?
  3. The Sand Scorcher was bought from my lhs last year butI never got round to getting the build started. Concentrated instead on the CC01 Jeep and restoring a vintage Tamiya. Now I have a Hpi Cup Racer project to move on to. Therefore decided to let this one go. It is BRAND NEW with all packaging/manual/ESC and also the limited edition Tamiya bag that came with the initial batch of re-release. I am looking for £220 plus postage. Local pick up In Manchester/Warrington is preferred but can post if buyer arrange their own courier/insurance. Any questions please pm me. Thanks for looking.
  4. Thanks Henk - It will be a CC-01 Jeep to get first then will definitely move on to a CR-01 as funds allow. I like both the Land Cruiser and the Jeep Wrangler. So from your description of the body mounts......... a land cruiser body should fit the jeep kit without any modification. I will pop into my lhs and hopefully they will have the kits in so that I can have a browse at the manuals to check if they are the same. Cheers.
  5. Thanks for the replies guys. It is the CC-01 that I am interested in and not the CR-01 (wrongly quoted in the title !!). Sorry for the confusion.
  6. Looking to move on to my new project and have been checking out the CC-01. As you know there are 3 kits available for the CC-01 range (Jeep Wrangler/Land Cruiser 40 and the Unimog 406). I was wondering if the bodies are interchangeable that will fit the other kits without any modifications. I am thinking of getting the Jeep kit but would also like to buy a separate Land Cruiser body. Thanks.
  7. Thanks Alistair...also noted the comments in the other topic. Cheers.
  8. Thank you for your very detailed reply. I will have a go using Glow Fuel as you have suggested. Hopefully it will strip out the old paint and not affect the shell. Cheers.
  9. Hi Alistair, Could you have a look at the Guide Book and check for me to see what plastic the body of a Terra Scorcher is made from. I have posted in another post here but have had no reply. Hope it is not too much trouble. Thank you in advance.
  10. Hi there, Can you confirm that the products mentioned above are also suitable for stripping the paint of a Terra Scorcher shell? I am not sure if the material is the same as that of the King Tiger. Thanks.
  11. Another parcel arrived this week - my second Tamiya Well pleased with it. It's almost in mint condition except for a strangely painted colour scheme by the original owner:o Luckily the original decor set had not been used therefore I can reinstate the shell as per box art. There is a price list (Beatties Super Deals) showing: Cheapest model : Grasshopper II at £52.99 Most expensive model : Clodbuster at £177.50
  12. A parcel arrived today........my first Tamiya
  13. Had another go at downloading. Works ok now. Thanks
  14. I am waiting for delivery of my Terra Scorcher and would like to have a copy of the manual before stripping the parts. Had a look at the manual on TC and have downloaded a few pages It's also saying that I have downloaded 6 pages but I could only see one page. Is it possible to save the pages offline and refer to them later during the my rebuilding of the TS? There are 28 pages for the TS. Am I ok to download the whole manual or is this not allowed by TC and resulting in my IP address banned from using the site? Thank you in advance for clarifying the above.
