    Hey Vagabond. I was thinking about making a knock about car, but the chassis is such a poor design and has so many weak points. I may end up with a complete car in bits actually...I'll let you know. Where in Surrey are you based? I'm near Windsor..

    Hey Jason, Thanks for the messages. I'd be very excited to see your Sonic Fighter - although the same car, it looks way way better. Do you need a new wing as I have one from a bulk lot of bits I bought?
    I've sanded and painted the wheels from the second one, but nothing beats the original white finish!

    Hi There,

    I have had two really ropey Strikers lying around for ages, however, never had the inclination to work on them.

    I purchased them from a club member a few years ago, and having realised how terrible they are to drive, I was not motivated to do anything with them. I used to be an Avante man in the late 80s, and I wouldn't have given it a look at all..

    About a week ago, on a rainy August day, I decided to strip them both down in order to make one 'perfect' model.

    Sorry, I didn't fully respond. I wasn't looking to do too much work...perhaps tune, tweak and paint the shell...not much more.

    Hey Nobbi,

    Thanks for your suggestion. Never even thought about them. I have a FighterRX but was never really a fan. I guess its a tough enough for a kid to play. What do have? Are they complete?

    I was originally thinking about a Mardave Cobra (I have three and have given two as presents in the past) - underrated car

    Hi Guys.

    Every so often I'll bump into someone that is really intrigued by my collection and wants one for themselves. 

    I gave my friend's kid a Rising Fighter and it went down a treat. 

    If anyone has a Rising Fighter or similar for sale, I would appreciate if you could let me know.

    Hello!

    I'll be shocked if this hasn't been discussed before. If we raced all of the Tamiya 1/10 buggys stock i.e. as they are designed to be built (BUT ALL RUNNING 540 Silvercans), what would be the fastest?? 

    I always thought that the Avante/Egress would be the quickest. However, having recently run a Stadium Raider, I'm not sure. If there are any stats out there, I would be really interested.
