No it not like that one mate, its a truck with madbull size wheels only crome. Has friction shocks and a 550 motor. I know nothing about it :L
Has a Truck shell. Pretty adjustable and a beefy centre drive shaft and bearings all round. thanks

Your best bet is to have a look at completed auctions on eBay...If you want the best price, sell it in bits...

Anyone have a clue what i could get for my fighter buggy rx?
Been used alot in previous years by me. One owner! lol
A few small improvements such as ;
1) Bearings
2) Sand viper wheels (bashed)
3) Proline tyres (new)
4) New mabuchi
5) New traxxas 19t 32dp pinion (steel)
6) New servo and horn
7) adjustable steering linkage (very well engineered)
The shell is usable but had a crack in it but could be filled or plated.
No cracks in chassis and the rolling chassis is original.
A little TLC it could be mint.
So price???

My sh18 nitro engine is for sale. Had 1.5 litres through it and been ran rich.
Its as new and looks mint. Very reliable and fast.
Comes with pull start, flywheel and clutch.
Will only take cheque.

what esc you gunna run? Would reccoment spider diffs aswell if your budget will cover it. -

Ran 3980kb bl and 3s for a while and it coped just fine. Good strong buggy. What is urs gunna be powered by?

Losi also make a 12T 550. I don't know if they're any better than the Titan but could be an option.They are all the same...made by mabuchi.

I didn't know who made them, but it's good news if it's Mtroniks as they're half decent.Couldn't you run the fan from the RX supply when on 3S??
I could of, but i only had a 3 slot rx. good idea though mate.

The Hobbyking ESC fan is only rated for 2S, they tell you to fit a higher voltage fan for 3S !If you could outrun a Savage then thats quick ! As we've discussed numerous times though the FB chassis is not the greatest start point for silly speed and handling - its cheap, basic and parts are plentiful but its not the most capable as you know. At some poitn you really should bite the bullet and go for an improved chassis design, even if its only to a DT02 or a DF-02 (slated for its off road ground clearance but probably ideal for yor tarmac duels), or a TB-01.
yeah youre right mate, i have £115 saved up from selling a nitro engine so i could buy one right now, but im gunna wait till my birthday i reckon.

percymon; i ran it on 3s lipo for a few weeks untill the esc fan stopped working, it was quick, outrunning my mates hpi savage with ease, but still not quick enough really.
derv-scaler; yeah they look a good set up. the esc is actualy made by mtronics so i hear so its would be a good combo.
Think im gunna up my budget and get a second hand mm7700kv combo on maxamps 3s lipo.

or this one in the trades section - might be a bit tame for Dan though !Percymon we need a catch up mate. That Bl combo you sold to me is still going but its lacking power still, 3980kv is obviously not enough lol

yes a 12t 550 is like a 15t 540. It will be fine. However why a titan 12t ? they are known to be unreliable.

yeah i will get ansmann ones mate, they have proven to be good with nitro's.
Any particular ones? Also should i just get rears or not? Btw nice dt02 mike0

Ok, I'd stiffen it up as much as possible and go with a reinforced slick of soft compound for the cooler weather. The slick actually does better on asphalt than a treaded tire, but dust and dirt mess you up either way. If the suspension is soft then your power goes into the suspension instead of the road.Okay cool, road slicks it will be on the rear. Got to think about weighing the front down a little.
How do you think the gearvox will last??

When you say on road, is that asphalt or what? What voltage are you running and what gear ratio would help.tarmac running. 7cell and 6 cell nimh and sometimes 2s lipo. no choice on gearing really either 17t or 19t. thanks

Long time no speak and all. lol
been bussy with 1/8 nitro stuff the last few months, but hope you all are well !!
So then....just ordered a 4500kv bl combo for my fighter buggy rx. As you might remember i have tried many combo's in it lol ....most ending up costing loads and catching fire. haha
So any idea on how to get it more stable and get power down ?? Its gunna be used on-road only. So i have lowered the back with freakin pricey shocks.
What wheels and tyres should i buy for her? buggy wheels with street tyres? Need maximum traction.

I would be cool if i could get some stadium blitzer wheels to fit.
As for wheelie bar, ill have to make one i suppose. It keeps scrapping on the wing when i full throttle it, cant be good.

managed to get my hyper 7 running after a 3 month sit. Also took a look at my old fighter buggy and looked at it in shame lol
