  1. Years ago I recall seeing a kit for the Silver Ghost that was powered by a live steam engine. Not that the real Silver Ghost had a steam engine.
  2. Did Tamiya ever produce a competitive ROAR off-road racer through the 1990’s through present? I know back when I raced in the mid-eighties, the AE RC10 dominated the off-road course.
  3. Would it be heresy to mount the HB body on an AE RC10B4 running gear?
  4. Cheers. I have recently returned interest back into RC cars. It might be a mid-life crisis or something. Back in the mid-eighties I successfully raced both a Hornet and a gold pan RC10. The Hornet was deadly on the dirt oval. I placed first in the finals multiple times with the Hornet. The efficient transmission and good tires were hard to surpass. Sadly like many, I sold my cars when I went off to college. I recently bought a SC10 to race at the local track. However, I am very interested in buying a re release Tamiya kit from my childhood. I remember magazine ads showing the Sand Scorcher doing jumps then being washed off with a garden hose. Little did I realize that I would still be ogling over the same cars 30+ years later.
