  1. HA that's a good one! LOL And yes it was pretty awesome! I noticed how the tire deformed after I had rendered the video. So I may include a slow motion of that clip in a futur video, not sure yet. -Derick
  2. Had a good time, won 2nd in 4x4 mod with the highlift and left with a twisted rear axle/suspenssion. Won 1st with my VW Bus in the circle track, but my camera man forgot to film this -Derick
  3. Actually I have mounted my GoPro to many of my rc's. Although on the Sand Scorcher the footage is quite "jittery" since the chassis is so flexible. I can post up links if needed, or you can check out my youtube channel for many more videos with onboard and stationnary camera's: http://www.youtube.com/user/1983gmcvan Of course this Subaru Brat is not mine, so I will not mount my camera with a sticky 3M double sided tape to an rc's not owned by myself without permission. Hope you all liked this short clip. Full version was posted a few weeks back. -Derick
  4. Had a blast at the beach with a friend of mine. Filmed our rc's for the hole morning. Awesome fun! We have some scale bune buggy jumps, sand racing and some awesome slow motion shots. Hope you all like it!! -Derick
  5. Thank you very much! And no I do not have a tutorial, there was a lot of small modifications but never posted it anywhere and I never took many pictures along the way. It was a lot of "try something and see if it works out" kinda build. I did happen to post the VW for this first time here: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?...c=63956&hl= That sounds very interesting! Very currious to see the result! Thank you! And really, that is awesome!!! I'm looking for 3 more VW Bus bodies currently. Not many arround in this area. And really? I woundn't have thought that, but wow that is cool!!! Thanks everyone!! I'm glad you all like this creation of mine -Derick
  6. Thank you very much! I am running a 13T Venom Fireball. She flies!!! -Derick
  7. Hahaha Yeah, not quite in Sudbury, but no where close Scarborough. I say go North! No where close, but I'm arround haha. I don't feel like posting my location on public boards, but you 3 have a PM coming your way! -Derick
  8. hahaha yup! Thank you, glad you like it! -Derick
  9. Thanks! I've got some rusty bearings (outer axel, transfer case) and screws. reason for that is a few years ago I actually went mudding with the truck and that day I got sick, was in bed for 4-5 days so the truck sat covered in mud. Since then they have been rusty... Just need a new screw kit on rebuild. But if it wasn't for that they would have been fine, always was before that one time. Cleaned the truck and made sure every screw was dry, and still do. As for electronics, the answer would be no. Never killed any electronics. Once I did hit a puddle that was much deeper then expected, truck completly shut down. Took it home and removed all the electonics, took them apart and let them air dry for a week. Pluged them back in and they work just as they did when they were brand new out of the box. It took me 2 hours to clean after this run. But she isn't "out of the box" clean, but clean enough. As for the body, thats still covered in mud. Adds character! Thank you very much! And it's true, no babying these trucks. Run them like they are meant to be run! Filming yes, bashing no. Didn't break any parts and only ran the truck to where I'm comfurtable. Sorry I hope I don't come off rude, I just don't like the word "bashing". I guess it's just on who's perspective... But definatly a great way to spend lunch between classes. Thank you very much! And this was filmed in Ontario, Canada. -Derick
  10. MUD Season is OPEN! Great way to spend a lunch break! Check this out: -Derick
