There are loads of that style bumper/guard for D90 and SCX10 chassis but very little for CC-01 fitting. This one isn;t too bad (maybe better painted black ?) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Custom-Rear-and-Front-Aluminum-Bumper-Guard-for-Tamiya-RC-1-10-CC01-Chassis-Jeep-Wrangler/32813515074.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.266.fKVSPr&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_2_10152_10065_10151_10130_10068_10344_5560015_10342_10343_10340_10341_10192_10190_10307_10301_10303_10060_10155_10154_10056_10055_10054_5370015_10059_10534_10533_10532_100031_10099_10338_10339_10103_10102_10052_10053_10107_10050_10142_10051_10324_10325_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10110_5590015_10111_10112_10113_10114_10179_143_10312_10313_10314_10184_5570015_10078_10079_10073-10102,searchweb201603_24,ppcSwitch_3&btsid=95ace82a-966a-4064-8035-b7a7bba4a9b4&algo_expid=330c5f16-b9ff-4b3e-bcb8-ab819fd51954-34&algo_pvid=330c5f16-b9ff-4b3e-bcb8-ab819fd51954 loads to choose from if you could make them fit.. https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?isrefine=y&site=glo&g=y&SortType=price_desc&SearchText=front+bumper&page=2&CatId=200002649&initiative_id=SB_20171005121320&needQuery=n&minPrice=5

A nice little light set which should find a home on one of my SRB projects
-
A good tip if you are not used to the c clips is to put your pliers , clip and parts in a clear sandwich bag when you install the clip - that way if the clip does shoot off it will be contained within the bag - nothing worse than scrambling around on the floor / carpet looking for a 3mm clip (even worse with 2mm ones !!!)
-
Removed the original Rough Rider shell from its bag of oven cleaner, rinsed off and a light wet sand with 400 grit wet n dry - primer before the weekend hopefully; mudt remember to do all the ancillary parts too

M-Chassis 210mm Wheel Base Collection on TA05 M-Four
Percymon replied to 23psi4age's topic in General discussions
Nice selection, now you need a 914 body.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-914-KAROSSERIE-FUR-TAMIYA-M-CHASSIS-1-10-UNLACKIERT-MIT-DECALS-13200-/401247259477?hash=item5d6c334b55:g:JG8AAOSwNE5YW7qt -
No issues for me, whether on chromebook, chrome on laptop or safari on iphone.
-
Updated the build sheets for my SRB projects - I'm about 80% sorted on the parts front now, with a Scorcher body set being the most pricey item still to acquire. Ordered more hardware, at least M2 x 8, M2 x 10, M3 x 18, M3 x 20 and M3 x 25 bolts are cheap
-
I only dealt with him twice and both times (4-5 years ago) the goods were sent quickly and no issues with shipping - i don't remember getting much in the way of tracking info, so don;t fret. Based on most reports here and other forums I think I was a little unlucky with the quality of the items i received though - the two shells (Optima Mid) were wafer thin in places, and the decals bubbled up after 12 months on both shells - very annoying after the time invested in the rebuilds. Hopefully yours will arrive and be good quality
-
The Colt branded ones at RCMart are pretty good quality - i used the 1000TCR bodyset on a previous M-03 but they also have the modern 500 shape in the 'Abarth' version.. http://www.rcmart.com/colt-m2325-body-abarth-p-32080.html?cPath=438_874 If she wants a more standard look then don't fit the rear spoiler and trim the front spoiler lip a little. Good value for money, especially if you sneak a few other small items in (like M chassis wheels, foams etc) to assist the shipping.
-
They've featured on a few vehicles over the year - four of them are used to bolt the front end of the Astute buggy to the fibre chassis plate. And guess what that design is a bit of a weak link on the Astute !
-
Nothing very exciting but a pair of alloy coil over dampers for one of my SRB builds - now stripped down, anodizing removed, polished and re-assembled..
-
Still plenty of room for some more on there

Just lost interest mate, and not much spare time. Doing a few long outstanding SRB projects at the moment but that's it.

Cut n pasting of the forum picture links on a mobile phoneseems to be poor with square brackets being converted into %5B strangely pasting into a draft email and then cutting n pasting agin seems to be ok !?!

SOLD Tamiya Avante Body Shell, undertray , wing and decals Shell and undertray painted a solid blue (looks brush painted on inside) - I'd hazard a guess its Tamiya PC4/PS-4 New uncut TBG rear wing Remaining Tamiya decal sheet with items for rear wing and driver cockpit Shell has been fitted and possibly used for one battery pack on a runner but there is barely a mark anywhere (small scuff on undertray which I've tried to show below...) Perfect for a runner, or for shelf display Posted Royal Mail second class recorded delivery within UK £20 + £3 postage for the lot Payment by Paypal gift please

Decided far too many stickers on this for my liking so it's going into a bag of oven cleaner Disassembled the chassis, removed the ball diff and put back some unused vintage diff gears. Cleaning up the customrear cage before it goes back together, plus need to find a Mk 1 rear arm. Ball diff will go into brushless scorcher when I get to that parts project.
-
Interesting concept for surem, but can't imagine its much fun other than indoors - stability wise I can see the need for some pretty smooth surfaces to run on
-
Never owned a TT-01 but all of a sudden i'm more interested in them - nice work to date.
-
I'll drop you a PM tomorrow, I've not got a huge amount but there's a new G parts tree bar G5, and maybe a few other black sprue parts.
-
Today some 6x15mm dowel pins (for Fighting Buggy rear arms), a set of pipe joints for rear cage and vintage unused SRB gears.
-
Nice Vanquish project - jusr sold mine, but i still have some spare sprue parts if you need anything.

Oooo RC10 - bit of a resurgence with the re-releases a few years ago, then it all went quiet again. My two.. Both Team cars, the orange one runs Reedy 13.5T brushless, with modern 2.2 rims/tyres - the chassis was lightened by previous owner (milled interior) Boxart car runs its original wheels and tyres, new shell and mostly new shock components. Chassis was re-anodized during the restoration
