Some more morning fun with my Blackfoot.

EPA just stands for End Point Adjustment.

I enjoy both building and running them. In recent years, making videos has become a hobby, so my YouTube channel fits perfectly with the hobby (shameless plug, go subscribe to my channel if you haven't already!). Thirty plus years strong now and Tamiya is the company that started me on this mad journey lol.

Out enjoying the weather with my Monster Beetle.

RCMart had a post about a possible "S" version of this chassis coming soon too.

Run the pack a few times and you should have your answer as if it's dying or not.

Any Tamiya can take a brushless setup. Just make sure to have a hardened pinion. Pick whatever model strikes your fancy and don't over power it. As mentioned above, something around 3000kv is good.

Sounds like it might have reached end of life.

Tips For Running a ReRe Wild One Please.
Theibault replied to Grumpy pants's topic in Re-Release Discussions
The WO is one of my all time favorite runners. I've had mine since it was first re released and it has been amazingly reliable. Bearings and a Sport Tuned are all I have done to mine. I run it frequently and I don't take it easy either. I have had zero issues and honestly, I haven't even done any maintenance on it other than occasionally use my air compressor to blow the dust off after every 4 runs or so. For beach running, just keep it out of salt water and get the sand out after the run. PS, I really like your red wheel nuts. Might have to get some for mine. Here's a few videos I've made of it running. -

My thoughts exactly. -
I also agree that the CR-01 is the truck for you. I love mine and what you describe is perfect work for the CR-01.

Lol, I'm a little surprised at all the small box comments as the smallest kit box I have ever received was a Tamiya, for my TA05 VDF. 😆

If you plan on actually racing, and not a vintage class, I'd highly recommend this for a 4wd. Ready to go, just add radio and LiPos. For fun, you can't beat the Optima. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGTWS&P=3

Dilemma - Project buggy I bought is too nice. What to do?
Theibault replied to ThunderDragonCy's topic in General discussions
My personal thoughts are that you should just run it. These things aren't Faberge Eggs. It's sole purpose is to be built and run. Don't deny this car it's sole purpose in life. -
Mine shipped from Amain as well! Happy day.

Thanks! That road is actually very heavy work traffic. I have other roads for spotted runs, but that's not really my thing lol. Cheers bud! 😀

Testing filming RC cars with my Mavic Pro. I usually don't huck my Tamiyas off jumps, so I'll have a different style filming with those. Can't wait to shoot more.

Not my video. Another great one from my buddy Waffett. I figured everyone here would enjoy this.

I think the XV-01 is a modern classic. It's typical Tamiya design philosophy. Also, what Speedy said about the WR/WT/GF chassis and the CR-01. All of these are very Tamiya as in someone who's into RC would immediately know they were Tamiyas without needing to be told so. Kind of like some bands like The Grateful Dead, 311, The Clash, The Beastie Boys, etc. You hear a few notes and you instantly know who they are.

They are actually Rando Brand shocks and come from an AE ( Assorted Ebay ) shock bundle. Hope that helps!😂 Have no clue. Just look like cheap shocks. I can tell you that c clip is not for the shocks. Usually used on CV joints.

Tamiya Model Magazine - cover and seven page feature!

Fantastic my friend. I'm happy to see your wonderful cars getting more attention than by just those of us here.😀 -
Exactly. Just run it. It's a great runner. This is mine. Bone stock and one of my favorite runners.

Where do you stick it?...your receiver antenna I mean
Theibault replied to Peter_B's topic in General discussions
I don't. My Futaba receivers don't have antennas.
