Spot on. Tamiya cares nothing for anyone outside the domestic market. Tamiya will cater to the Japanese sensibility. That being said, I expect to see an Avante 2001 as the next re re. The body released a few years ago was the test. Egress, Avante, and Avante BS have all now had a few runs. Tamiya also loves to part bin special kits. They have just about everything ready to roll for the Avante 2001. This is not the kit I want. All this leads me to ask for a 959/Celica GrB like I do every year. I will be disappointed again this year, and I won't buy the Avante 2001.

Flying FPV is absolutely amazing. There is no other experience like it in the world. Literally tricks your brain into thinking that you, as a person are flying. I've been into cars for 30+ years but ever since I started flying FPV quads a couple years ago, I fly WAY more than all the driving I do (and I still drive and play with my cars a lot). Have fun learning to fly. Don't get discouraged, it does have a somewhat steep learning curve, but there are steps you hit in the progression of learning that will keep you coming back for more. Here's a flight from 2 days ago. And to everyone else, sorry, I just get very excited when someone wants to start flying FPV.

You know, I didn't realize this. I thought they just re did the release the same. My first edition also came with a speed controller (I'm trusting the sticker on the box as I haven't removed the cellophane).

So I've been wondering about this. The re re ABS is a slightly different box and different part number from the first release. From a collector standpoint, do you think this would make a difference in value between the two? I'm going to build one of these and keep the other NIB. Not sure which one to build lol. What do you guys think?

One black Avante.

Testing an app to allow me to track my laps with my RCs.

The best grip is provided by your throttle finger. Try turning your punch down on the ESC. Also, helps if you don't overpower a car (nothing wrong with silly overpowered RCs, you just can't then complain about lack of grip).

This is my original HPI RS4 from 1995. Needs a bit of love if I can ever find the time to do a rebuild.

Just lots of tiny screws. So many tiny screws lol. All three sets had 12 per wheel and another 6 per hub. 216 tiny little screws. It's also always a pain to get the first couple screws per wheel to screw in as you are compressing the tire bead against the ring and wheel.

Part 3, the front gearbox and shocks.

My least favorite hobby activity. I put together 3 full sets of beadlocks. 😒

Vanessa ran off with half my drivers. Never trust a SoCal blonde. 😝✌

The only advice the TC Councilor will give you is to buy a bigger house. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I keep all my Tamiya boxes. All the others go in the bin.

Hehe...Pinto reminded me how much fun it is to run the Bronco. I wish I had all his goodies. 😝

The easiest thing to do is to get a free Imgur account and then post the [IMG links here.

Love it! Will get the ComHor to go with my ComGra. And I'm totally fine with a ComHot that's 2wd. All of you who would freak out over that, just remember you are grown adults playing with toys.

First, I take the servo out and make sure the steering rack is working as it should. If that's not the issue, I then test the servo. My guess is that the servo may have some stripped gears.

Hello and welcome!

The small bumper is the plan! I'm not worried about scuffing the body. Got a spare 84355 body set I bought a few years ago.
