we went today, didnt get any decent shots though? 2 battery packs in and my supershot msc got stuck in full speed and went all the way to the bottom of the golf course, i was lucky in that it got stuck in some long grass 20ft from the canal!

ayup lad, i live just up the road from you in bramley! if you know where armley park isme and my brother will be there ramping our cars out of a sand-bunker or two! about 2-ish maybe?
-
i used a dynatech 02H in my suershot with only one problem, the bevel gears in the rear gearbox wore down very fast and had to be replaced. i took it to bridlington beach with the 02h and it went very well with a 13 tooth pinion gear on! now i run a technigold in it and it goes like brown stuff off a shovel![]

yup you went to the right place, if you just held out 5-6 mins longer as me and my brother got to the sealife centre about 5 past 12. we were badly held up in traffic on the way, when we parked the car i put my topforce on the roof of the car. we waited about 20 mins and went to the south beach in brid, the sand there was all dry and soft, so much so that mi supashot just beached itself!
-
yup its defo going ahead, we are meeting up at the sealife centre in scarborough (at 11:30) first then drive to reyton. more the merrier lad, im taking my mini dv cam so ill be filming a bit and nearly everyone will have a charger. kingeddie has a ramp but he cant make it so we'll have to make our own out of sand, so see you there!. andy.[au]

i dont mind trailers for up and coming rc vids, i have just downloaded one and it doesnt apeal to me so im gonna delete it! i dont find it anoying that one of my entries has been knocked off the main home page because most people just click more on the home page and eventually find my stuff anyhoo.(or maybe not?) reading this thread made me realise that i have two vids on my hard drive that are not on here!! anyway scoobs your vids are very good and i always download em [] so keep up the good work lad!! -
what is it with fat birds in lycra anyhoo?[+o(] leeds is full of em during the summer! dont worry about it steviedee lad, my boss was'nt gonna let me have the saturday off until i fibbed about my dad visiting from norfolk! []

i think your the only one from the "yorkshire clan" i havent met yet, i think you maybe right about it being a bit busy. ive never been to reyton/reeton/reaton(??) before, shall we meet up in scarborough first then drive to reeton? it'll be good to see mark and paul again!! (bless em)
-
so how many people are going then? and what do you plan to run? i hope the weather stay's nice for us!
-
im sure we can find somewhere to run it, are ya bringing your baja champ to race my topforce?? ;-)
-
if the beach is quiet then we will probably make a course to race round and a couple of sand ramps! i'll be taking my topforce, supershot and my nitro blaster, all run on 27mhz. its good to ask because if ya dont ask ya never know! andy.
-
shall we meet up on the 24th (sat) outside the sealife centre in scarborough say 11am?? when it gets closer to the 24th i will put my mobile number in this thread so you can phone me to see where i am, for those who are going and never seen me before heres a pic![{] im the older one!!
-
the more the merrier!! so which day would suit as i cant do both days, sat would be the best day for me. how about you? also where does everyone want to meet up? and what time? any suggestions are welcome! andy.
-
i have been thinking about it for a while now and i have talked about it with another member and i think it would be a fantastic idea to hold a tamiyaclub meet at either scarborough or bridlington, for the date i thought the sat 24th june. obviously not everyone will be able to make it on that date so im open for offers of other date's, so if your interested let me know what you think. andy.

i like the look of the front one's on integrale1's lancia but the rear one's look a tad bit rushed, although im not knocking it as it looks good but i want to make the rear one's come off the inside of the rear wheel arch. i dont want to ruin the body by drilling hole's in it. i have a couple of empty coleslaw tubs that could make perfect inner wheel arches, once these are cut to fit i could mount the mud flaps to them, many thaks for the advice!!
-
i might go with the electical tape idea as that seems to be the cheapest way, any idea's how i could mount them to a lancia delta body shell? also what could i make an exhaust out of?
-
i really want to make some for my lancia delta, has anyone got any tips on what to make them out of and how to mount them? cheers, andy.

the 1/8th mini is a kit i was after too but having been outbid on a very nice one put me off. the chassis is from a 1/10th kit and the mini body is 1/8th, im not sure what the difference between tg10 mk1 and a tg10 mk2 are though. i have just got into nitro too, i bought a nitro blaster rtr. i run it on 25% nitro and its very fast and lots of fun! my brother has 3 hpi savages and knows a lot about nitro engines and helped me with the running in and tuning of the engine. i hope this helps!!
