the TT01 chassis that i had with this in my opinion, had way too much plastic! i suppose i could have hopped it up but i couldnt be bothered, i like the TA01 chassis better. i have been out today doing some proper rallying! have a butchers.........
-
a few months back i bought a lancia delta TT01 kit with the finished body, ran it once and hated the chassis and then sold it but kept the bodyshell+wheels. a couple of weeks ago i saw a TA01 chassis on ebay and won it, as you well know the original release was a TA01. what i want to know is, can i put it in my showroom as 58117 or do i leave it as 58342? anyhoo here's a pic! andy.

the hotshot 2 seems to be the least favourite out of the hotshots, as the hotshot and supershot always seem to go for 'top dollar!' but 30quid for a hotshot2 is a very nice price, keep in mind that if you plan to restore it the front bumper (c-tree) will cost you a small fortune!! unless tamiya re-release the hotshot they are very hard to come across, the oval block tires are quite plentiful on ebay and by the look of the one's in the picture's your gonna need em. the hotshot 2 is a fantastic car so go for it!! andy.[]

sounds like me with my thunder shot, i loved running it over the ramp that you brought to the nook meet/clumber park meets as it just flies and gets major air. i must admit when i had ramped it about 10+ times it did show signs of distress on the chassis. but i think every car/truck/buggy has weak points, and tamiya employ us to find em![] and what fun it is! -
the technigold thats in my thundershot ive had it for about 2 and a half years and i havent replaced the brushes yet, its been used quite a lot too. andy.

i run my thundershot in stock form, the only thing i have changed is the motor from the kitbox 540 to a technigold with a 17-tooth pinion gear. it's by far the fastest buggy i own! i love running it because the tire's are bald and it does wicked donuts on slippy surfaces. by the way mine isnt a re-release[]. the topforce re-release is a fantastic car of which i just recieved one, it was built, painted and decalled within a week! i have run it once outside on a rugby pitch and it was great its fully ballraced with a tamiya type RZ motor, i cant recommend the topforce enough. i love its looks too although from a distance it looks like a baja camp which is a dreadful car!! (sorry if you own one!?)[6]
