good news, my dad was coming to visit that weekend or so i thought he was, it turns out that its the weekend after! DOH!!![)] so i can make it now!! id="blue"> see ya there andy![]

a couple of months ago i received a hotshot that had only been run 3 maybe 4 times and is now one of my favourite runners, go on run yer hotshot! [}]

ayup lads! i have just finished t'video transfer from tape to my hard drive and there is some really good footage. many thanks to andy+kingeddie for videoing my supashot and thundershot[]

yeah i hope those BIG puddles have frozen over too, i hope some one else is taking a video cam so my cars are on the next vid!! i have repaired my thundershot after breaking the chassis flying off that ramp![]

ayup steviedee lad, i met andy there a few weeks back and my hotshot was sensational. the track itself is all astroturf so there maybe a couple of ickle puddles if its rained. so i think your bajachamp will be a good choice! well owt thats off road will be a good choice lad![]

yup when ive finished it lad! i have only just started lookin at the footage, there was your 7up lunchbox, boomerang and king cab, a madcap(BASSGURU), stadium blitzer+baja champ(steviedee), lunchbox(WILD WILLY), and a couple of others too. it will be posted by sunday, thats if my pc will stop crashin!

thats right, make sure everythings plugged in and then baloon it and seal with a ziptie or nylon band as tamiya like to call em![]

im definitly coming this sunday to test my wild dagger. also my supershot runner will be hittin' the mud, its fully waterproofed as its been raining quite a bit so puddles are expected! if your planning on going make sure you waterproof you cars/reciever, motor and battery, servos are quite resiliant little blighters!![]

all my tamiya's are bought to run, just because of the history behind them! anyone will tell you that a hotshot suffers from understeer, but i think its a fantastic car to look at and drive strait through a big muddy puddle, or blasting about on a beach with a technigold motor and a 8.4 battery installed. personally i dont moan that often, im just out there to have fun with my tamiya's![] hey ive just reminded myself that im off to blackpool in a couple of weeks, and i cant wait!![]

why do tamiya recomend not to glue/cement the tires to the rims? in the wet it goes nowhere slowly, but every other car/truck it recomends tire cementing. so why not do it, as far as i can see there's no reason not to do it! why make the suspension rubbish? is there any way to improve it?[?]

just thought, has there ever been a tamiyaclub meeting at blackpool? i mean there's no shortage of places to stay and there's no shortage of places to run radio control cars either. a couple of months ago i ran my supershot at blackpool on the south beach and it was ace!. so if there was a meeting, what things do i or we need to do to organise such an event? i have went to snetterton04 and i think moosey organised that and even though i only had my hotshotII+juggernaut i loved every second i was there. so how about it people??

i got to clumber park @11:30 and i waited at the cafe near the entrance for over an hour, no one turned up, what a complete waste of time! however i did manage to put 2 nicads through my avante at the back of the bbq area!![]

the gearbox troubles that ive had was when the rear diff in my supashot started to make a loud crunching noise, only because ive run it so much that the teeth had worn on the gears! my blackfoot's gearbox side plate's flexed and caused it to make a noise like an electric drill. [] .andy.

me and my brother will be in a green vectra, with a tamiyaclub sticker in the back window!! if you havent got a tc sticker on your car, just put a controller on the parcel shelf/dashboard inside your car, then i'll probably come over and say hi! []
