Nice truck. The TA02T is a good chassis. Look for this post in the GENERAL DISCUSSION thread (Post your TA02-T's Trophy Trucks). I am working on a Prerunner rebuild right now.

So a few months ago I started rebuilding my daughter's mini-t. I bought it used and we bashed it often and she at the time was learning how to drive it. So it was in need of some updates. I started with an ECX SMASH nos chassis. Since she likeds blue we started collecting aluminum parts. I tried to stick with Losi or Dynamite with a few Gpm pieces thrown in.

I finally got all three. I found the pre runner on the bay this week, made an offer and won.

Here is a print for the driveshaft on my truck. The rear is a modified frog cvd. The front can be made from the original kit shaft. You will also need Tamiya OP-1052 aluminum universal propeller shaft and OP-1053 aluminum propeller joint set.

Thank you. Yes you are correct short chassis and DF-01 or Top Force arms. The wide a- arms made the wheel base adout 6-8 mm shorter than the original. Trying to find a way to correct this but no stock arms correct the problem. It is still a blast to drive as is though. Radio control car action did a hop up article on this many years ago thats where I got the idea and have been modifying ever since.

The drive shaft is from a TB-03 as is the front drive cup. The rear drive cup is a modified Frog cvd. Its a tight fit on the TA-02 but in the end I have a slight amount of clearance. I plan on making another one in the near future and will try to get some good documentation.

I got a new addition yesterday.

The TT02 might be a good candidate for this if Tamiya would just put some realistic bodies on it.
