  1. Cheers for that just ordered a selection of parts that i see as weak points just in case and the replacement servo saver x2 from fusion hobbies
  2. Thanks for the comments guys,am thinking that i`ll kept the standard motor for now as i dont really want to spoil the fun factor we`re getting from these and i think it would take some convincing of the wife before i could go and purchace another car .i took the lad out with them yesterday and after hitting each other i had snapped the plastic arm off the steering servo which brough our outing to an end as i dont have a spare ,where can i find a spare arm as the local shops to me dont stock them and are there any stronger servo arms that can be purchased as i think how easily this one broke its likley to happen again
  3. I must admit me and my son are having great fun with these and its a good way of us going out and spending some quality father /son time ,i am thinking a motor upgrade from the standard 540 will be next on the list but not knowing a great deal about them what would you guys recommend as the next step up in motors?
  4. Hi Everyone,i`m new to the forum ,after my son having numerous of these cheap r/c cars from superstores and them only lasting five minutes i thought this year santa should bring him a proper R/c motor and he wanted an off roader and what better to start him off but a Lunchbox (he`s only 6yrs old) i pre assembled it before xmas as i thought he would want to use it straight away but left it unpainted till he picked the colour he wanted which he did and we painted it yesterday, however i thought it might be a bit boring for him to run it alone so strangley enough santa brought me a lunchbox too (i`m just a big kid at heart) .i took my lad down the beach with them on boxing day and found that the two small springs on the rear axle lasted about five mins so i set about dismantling one of his cheap r/c cars for a pair of shocks and fitting one to his and mine in place of these 2 springs but having read through a few topics on here i see that this is quite commonly done. My sons LB My LB and the extra shock fitted to rear axle
