Got my new Stadium Thunder body & decal kit, best part is they shipped it in the original ST box

Not sure if a tread like this has been done before... I know the Stadium Thunder is not known for its top speed, but still though it would be interesting so I strapped my GPS to my Stadium Thunder yesterday to check the top speed. I got... 35Kph and quite impressed with that. So post your top speeds here... Stadium Thunder 18T motor 35kph

That looks brilliant ! It must take real skill and time to do the rust.

I was lucky enough to just find a new body & decal kit for my Stadium Thunder eBay ! I want to use my old body as a runner and do the new kit exactly like the box art and keep the new one for the shelf. Unfortunately I lost the manual long ago so this firstly I need a manual if anyone can send the right direction to find one. I've tried a few sites with no luck. Secondly I would like to know what the original box art color is ? I had a look on the web and looks like black but I'm not sure ... Thanks guys!

For me its the Lunchbox I always wanted one as a kid, the box art with the van doing a wheelie was my favorite - Its next on my list

So I'm busy resorting my Brat, and I would like to know what you guys suggest. I want keep it original but still use it as a runner....
-
Thanks dude, I'm hoping to have all three up and running within 3 months. I think the Brat will take the longest.... I'll post some more pics on this thread as I go along

Greetings from South Africa! Thought I'd introduce myself & share my projects. Here's what I've got so far: Stadium Thunder ( Stripped but descent cond. 18T motor & full ball bearing kit) HKS Opel Vectra JTCC ( in one piece but needs some part and work to run again. 23T motor & full ball bearing kit) Subaru Brat ( Just got this one one the weekend, I want to restore this one to original box art cond) I'm slowly working on them as I'm waiting for parts from ebay and Tower hobbies, I want all 3 to be runners as I don't do shelf queens...
