Hiya.
No, it doesn't have any onboard batteries.
I was told by the guy i bought it from that the cars behaviour is due to a low battery charge. (Sorry!)
However... there is a small metal part attached to the outside of the chassis rail. There are three wires attached to it. It smokes like a sod when i plug the battery in. Anyone know what it is and if it's replaceable?
All and any help appreciated!!

M/B Upside down worked okay, although a centre (servo?) moved about.

There is no response from the steering servo.
I don't know which kind of speed controller it is, cos i'm new to this sport!

Hiya.
I have just bought a second hand monster beetle.
It worked fine until it hit a stool at a moderate speed, and now the wheels spin whether the power switch is on or off and the car won't respond to the controller.
Does anyone have any ideas as to the fault?
