  1. Ah, thanks, but I meant the plug connecting the charger to the mains power adapter; like this: http://www.ezlaptopadapters.com/images/12V-DC-5A-LCD-Power-Adapter.jpg
  2. I recently bought an Ansmann xMove 2.0 battery charger, but am having problems figuring out what the dimensions are for the DC connector plug. I suspect it is the same as for the IMAX B6 and similar chargers. Does anyone here know?
  3. Yeah, that guy's voice is unbeatable
  4. Yeah.. I'm also interested in hearing other members' advice on this. I'm really happy with my Lunch Box 3rd shock mod and would like to install a similar solution to my Hornet.
  5. Exactly, I've got a Parma Lexan body. The point is that is seems impossible to find an olive drab paint for Lexan plastics. Anyhow, my best bet is to go for the ordinary green (Tamiya) color for the inside and matte paint for the outside. Should probably give a quite army-ish result.
  6. Yeah, I've seen their stuff on eBay as well. I hooked up some Lunch Box body mounts a couple of months ago; they're awesome! I'll probably end up buying some for my Monster Beetle also
  7. I'm planning to create an alternative look to my Lunch Box but just realized that it seems very hard (impossible?) to find an olive drab color for Lexan bodies. I believe that Krylon K42930000 might be the stuff I want, but I'm not sure. Do any of you guys have some advice on this problem? (See http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...89&id=19357 for the source of inspiration - it looks great!)
  8. I'm using this one (PAR10340): http://www.horizonhobby.com/products/vw-be...h-wing-PAR10340
  9. Great job! It looks fantastic! Makes me want to start a new project...
  10. The rerelease Lunch Box was my first Tamiya kit to build (a year ago). It was a blast and since then I've built The Hornet, The Frog and restored a Monster Beetle. Pure Tamiya magic!
  11. Thank you very much for the fast and good reply - now things are more clear! I'm also curious to read what other people prefer, liquid or gel thread lock..
  12. I have a few questions regarding Tamiya's thread lock products: * Which thread lock (anaerobic gel (#54032) or the liquid one (#87004)) is generally preferred? * I assume that the anaerobic gel is stronger - but how strong is it? Can I remove a screw if I use it? * Both above mentioned products are for metal-to-metal, right? I find it hard to find any good information on this, so I'd be very happy if someone could help me out on this.
  13. Thanks for the replies! I built the gearbox for high speed last evening. Will try that and probably the other configurations in the future!
  14. Just got myself The Frog and became aware of the three spur and pinion gears included in the kit. The manual says they're for normal speed, high speed and torque respectively. I think I'll be opting for high speed, but do anyone here have any recommendations or considerations to share?
