Looking for shogun wheels in usable condition. I just broke another one.Need left and rights

The center diff housing is the same for the burns and Usa-1. I dont see anywhere in the manuals a bsw34? I an using the main gear from the Usa-1 in my burns and Inferno. I machined a new diff housing to make it work. Upgrades I have made are aluminum wheels, aluminum radio tray, new shock towers to accept the turbo burns long rear shocks a new stronger servo saver and put in the BSW01 pinion gear rear only. I am only using RFB, VFB and Exb engines right now. Im considering the RG now as parts are hard to find for the older engines. I see the engine your using is a RXb. I have some new engine parts if interested.

Warning!!!! don't use the Bs11 main gear alone. The clutch will burn up. The huge tires need the counter gear. I have tried this and you can't do any weheelies.
-
Use a piece of paper to adjust the gear mesh but that is not the real problem Over time the counter gear shaft will wear out and the bearing will go out.
-
I have three of these's trucks and only run one. The counter gear will fail if not properly maintained. The wheels will break because of the weight of the truck. The shocks leak all the time and the pinion gear will strip out easy in the rear gearbox if no properly shimmed. I have solved some of the common failures with aluminum wheels, new shock towers to accept the tubo burns or other long stroke shocks, and replaced the pinion gears with hardended ones and shimmed the diffs properly.

The best thing you can do if find a manufacture that makes the gear you need allready made. It may require some additional machining to make it work. I have foud it cheaper than haveing a custom gear made. That can cost hundreds of dollars for 1 piece and thousands of dollars for a small amount. what pitch is the gear you need and number of teeth.? Most gears I find are made in stainless steel, brass, plastic and aluminum.

Dykem Steel Red dye for Optima / Scorpion shocks
ATRC2011 replied to Live Steam Mad's topic in Kyosho
As easy as you brushed it on it will come off real easy with denatured rubbing alchol or CA debonder. Layont fluid is used for laying out scribed lines on a metal parts. So use a sharp object on it will come off real easy. The shock springs will wear it off over time. Any rubbing will. -
That all depends on the condition and how badly you want it. I wouldn't spend alot for in since they are easy to find. The Samari was the worst in the collection for breaking down. Parts are hard to get. I have the other 4wd Marui cars and they are way better than the samari. parts are easier to get and prices are good. They aren't wort $$$$ to me so I'm mot going to give my soul for a mint one.

That won't work. It will wipe right off with alchol wipes. You need to anodize them again. -

??????? Dykem fluid is only good for laying out holes and laying out scribed surfaces . Not to coat shock shaft to color them????? It will wear off in time from the friction. -
Looking for a Hitec lynx 3d battery tray with charger port new working. I would like a couple.

Those marui gears can't handle bigger tires long. Especially with a 21t pinion. SO I suggest you baby it by keeping it on the shelf.
-
Come on push it to the limit. The stock gearing won't last long with bigger tires and a taller gear ratio off road. All you did was slow it down making the ESC work harder. Bigger tires and a tall pinion make it slower.

Winning race's isn't everything. A true company needs finacial support to get there with sponcers and advertising and product support. Kyosho has no product support. Discontinuing a product line just to focus on racing isn't going to last long. The name will slowly disappear in time unless they change their minds and start selling products again worldwide. People want products in retail store's to see what's avaiable and and to buy replacement parts and spend money. You can't do that now! Know one one can get any retail support from Kyosho anymore. It's a real shame. They had great products and good support untill they decided to cut the cord and go solo.
