Hi all, Well i finally completed my Tamiya Dark Impact. I have a slight proplem with the car though. On a hard lock there is clicking noise think may have something to do with drive rods. Any ideas?? thanks simon

Hi all, I am new to this building models so please go easy on me? lol I am looking to make my car faster (hopefully) by upgrading the motor to a brushless system. What would I need to do and what would be a suitable budget motor for it. Would I also need to upgrade other parts of the gear build?? Thanks Simon

Hi all, After finally completing the build of the Tamiya Dark Impact DF-03 Car, my son decided to crash it after 2 uses!!!! Could somebody tell me the best (cheapest) place to obtain these the parts below? Looking at the front of the car the damage is to the right hand side. Hi all, Fairly new to this so please go easy on me I have now finally built my Tamiya Dark Impact and am now sorting out the controls. I have just managed to win the following items on ebay at a very good price. FUTABA 6EX 2.4GHZ SS TRANSMITTER FUTABA R606FS RECEIVER Been told that these are mainly for Planes and Helicopters but that I can still use them. What I need to know is what servo and speed controller should i use as (can i use acoms with the futaba range) Oh and also looking for a speed controller for the car?? Any help will be much appreciated thanks simon

THANKS EVERYBODY, FINALLY GOT IT DONE I PUT A FLAT OBJECT AT ONE END AND PUSHED DOWN AS HARD AS I COULD WHILST SCREWING WITH ALLEN KEY AT THE SAME TIME! MANY THANKS MORE QUESTIONS TO FOLLOW NO DOUBT

i have checked and double checked all are the correct parts. the problem is even without the screw it would only just meet with the nut it also does not mention anything about screwing these together at this part ?? which seems strange

Hi all, DARK IMPACT CHASSIS DF-03 this is doing my head in I am new to building cars and have only ever completed 1 other before. here is my problem: ON THE INSTRUCTIONS PART 2 I CANNOT GET PART NUMBER MB7 SMALL NUT TO MARRY UP WITH MA7 SCREW THROUGH THE GEAR AS IT SEEMS TO BE TO SMALL ON THE DIAGRAM THERE IS 3 STAGES AND I AM AT STAGE 3 I HAVE DOUBLE CHECKED ALL THE PARTS AND CANNOT GET IT TO SCREW TOGETHER IT SEEMS IT IS THE SPRING MK9 AS IF I LEAVE IT OUT THEY MEET UP BUT WHEN I PUT THE SPRING BACK IN PLACE THE D5 PART WITH THE MB7 NUT INSIDE OF IT DOES NOT GO DOWN MJ4 FAR ENOUGH FOR THE NUT AND SCREW TO MEET AM I MISSING SOMETHING THANKS SIMON on

hi all i am new to kit making i have just bought a tamiya dark impact on the first page i have to glue a metal washer type part to a plastic part question is, do i glue the full peice to it or just a small blob sorry for probably sounding thick thanks simon
