  1. How can I find this hornet truck build.?? Can't seem to view your profile now TC has changed the format somewhat..??!!
  2. Been around for a while on ebay, can't remember exactly who sold them... pargu, RC lover..?? One of em anyways... They work a treat I got one... Just went to find it on the bay and couldn't so if your selling these I'll take one as I run this chassis still...!!!!
  3. Yeah I could but now its playing on my mind lol.. I have just bought what I hope will be a decent used set.. I have a few pieces from the original but they are splt and scratched like nothin.. So will see how this plays out.. thanx for ya help... ;-)
  4. Hmmmm this is as I thought... **** as i really want to use the "C" clips and all, but I guess I will need to keep looking for a set of vintage G parts... Wahhhhhhh if I can find them...!!!!! =-X
  5. Hiya All, I have been restoring an old vintage Supershot, and not too many dramas, as I have a fair grasp of all things Hotshot.. BUUUTTT.. i have put it together with all vintage parts EXCEPT for wheels and gearbox parts.. the problem I have is the diffs slip horribly as they are all assembled..??!??!??! I have vintage everything including "C" clips & the actual steel gears themselves, and I think that is the problem as it is not an issue with "E" clips in place, the "C" clips allow a bit of slop in the slots/slits they sit in and it allows under pressure the outdrives move outwards and allows the bevel gears to slip.. Soooo I guess my question is are the gearbox parts different or are the metal gears different, either are impossible to get a hold of so want to only hunt and pay crazy for the item I need... I'm assuming its the gears as some have said the gearbox halvbes are identical but I am still doubtfull... Hope this makes sense....!!
  6. Hahahahaa gotta laugh... i have dealt with him heaps and really minimal problems... BUT...!! i asked him to change an order once politely and he obliged but he accidently took the wrong item off, I advised and asked him to correct it, and it went downhill fast from there.. I did get ALL the items in the end and I ended up with stuff I didn't want but he acted like an ignorant clown after I had shown him the mistake he made, and now he has BANNED me as well lol... worries me my brother just buys what i want from his store cos lets face it for that market he is the best even though the few mistakes are tolerable usually.. but I agree with some of you that the customer is always right...! I deal in sales and have to suck it every week and even when the customer is wrong the customer is RIGHT...!!! =-P
  7. I just hope jrrc/nitromaster break em down as all I want are wheels lol...
  8. I have one (copy/clone..??) and it works fine on lipo, but nimh have a few issues sometimes..??? But overall good value for money and comes with everything you could need... ;-)
  9. An ex partner of mine threw out... 8-X my original Hotshot box "cos it was empty...!" I almost died.... i am still looking for one... =-(
  10. Tamiya threadlock (the blue stuff) is plastic friendly BUT its not the best for strength.. I am going to use your idea here though, as I am forever screwing them back in even though I super glue them regularly.. I tried a pin with "c" clips and it kept coming of ("C" clips kept springing off lol) as I run mine race trim and HARD.....!!! Just the way intended and have minimal issues with the rest of the car...
  11. Yep I don't even know myself anymore... I just do...!?!?!? A lot of people think I'm childish and have problems, but you know what I don't go around bashing other people or dissing thier hobbies so I guess thats a good thing..? Just cos I'm not a footy nut doesn't mean I am any less of a "man"...!
  12. One of mine in an older guise.. I have a better shell now and will get a photo uploaded... ;-)
  13. Woah, very informative, just raised the cost of my frog rebuild by a big amount lol...!!! Might just buy a re-re and leave the old girl alone... ;-)
  14. Think your right hence why I canned them... Yep I am making a 'log' of changes to the shot ranges keep up lol...!!! Interesting....
