Both kits are same except for the version release market. Yours is US version. My self i have 2 nib Vanquish and one is Japanese version and the other is US version. Other differences you wil find is: the manual will have Japanese guide and instruction in addition to English and some times it is 100% Japanese in the Japanese version. The blister packs haveJapanese words. Sheets that comes with manual are different in both version. Other than that they are identical.

i never envied anyone, but wanted to be like them. I remember in 90s, the Tamiya Dealer here in Oman was a small-medium shop. and the son of the dealer was having many RC as he was same age as me back then. many nice stuffs from all categories. one i was asking my self: if i am him, what i would do then with all these? looooooooll Now i am very satisfied that i have all what i wanted and missed back then! cheers

I have: - The very rare Alloy front body mount ftom the rare Avante Carbon graphite chassis kit 53038 which is meant for Vanquish when upgraded. - The Very first version of the Avante upright ( there are 3 versions ). - A NIB Vintage Egress kit with reinforced part J and Part K. ( limited kit ).

Totally Agree! For collectors and fans, Money is not that important if you really want it! I bought a NIB Last year or before That for 800$ shipped and i never regret it. it is built and stands like a King. As long as you feel you will be happy, then go for it

In myopinion, the Vintage sets are not affected especially for those who are looking for pure antique kits. Yes, the re re made a favor for some ( most ) due to similarities of parts, but if you focus cleary on vintage parts, all parts are not same as re re. I am sure no one noticed that only in some few parts ;-)

Vanquish handles nicely with the Technigold. Like if it was build for her :-)

Got Vintage Avante 2001 Body Set, but it seems to be either a prototype version or manufacture Error....both ways i am very happy for it ( rare version ) Remark: The under-cowl/under-tray has no holes to fit the under-cowl to the chassis!...seems it skipped somehow the punching process back then in 90s. loooool Here are the photos: Important Note: * The Vintage Avante Body Set has a written ( 58085 Avante 2001 ) on the Sides of the Body Set ( Wing, Top Body and Undercowl ), While the Re-Re Avante 2001 Body Set has only written ( 58085 ) on sides. Changed the Wheels to Black one and now it is indeed ( Black Special )!

Got another Avante BS and Black Wheels. The Black Wheels will be installed on my built Avante BS and this will be built as stock building since i hav one already built with Titanium screws and Hi-Cap dampers... Will be fun once again to build this kit..;)

In most cases, if the kit has issue which is related to Manufacture production defect , then you will definitely get a replacement of the parts and in rare cases you will get a new kit ( depends on you LHS policies and rules )
