So youv been running sports tunned ok then? did you fit it without motor plate? How much of the spur were you hitting? Yourunning kit pinion? I want to use my sports tuned but scarred lol. On different note i have 20turn durtrax photon motor that need to try seating in in water,does anyone know how this is done? Use the big d batteries? Submerge whole thing? How long for? Spin it up in water then out water? Or just let dry out naturally? Thanks in advance

A fan would be excellent,i wouldnt know where to start though,where to get?,how + where it connects?,kind etc? Wouldnt mind one @ motor too. Is heatsync up to much on sports tuned? Dont wnt to buy one if just extra weight. Also would it be possible to give fan seperate power suply

Not so good m8,esc gets lot hotter,going to drill some holes in cover then stretch tights over holes,see how that goes, running sports tuned just now which is the 23t one,quick enough for now,was wanting to put sports in my blitzer beetle,but the pinion doesnt reach enough of spur gear,just wondering if any solutions?my pinion is the arw-3200dp-13t.sorry to go little off topic,all opinions welcome inc mc crisp,thankyou for help fella

What a coincedance m8,it wis you that bet me to it lol,guy in shop told me guy bought it on monday,i went in on wednesdy. Gutted. I thought their was nother one but no m8,theirs one in silverburn(no tamiya paint tho),cheched if they hud bugs left but no. All the people over the world on this site n i stumble cross the man that bet me to the bug haha,im in ayr,ive done lots to my hol bug,if ur neer by should swap emails,for bug issues etc. Pm me if up for it n il send u email.

I overhet durtrax photon speed2 20turn in mine,i drilled few holes in mine,too scarred bout dirt getting in to chop more off,currently trying to work a fan in their,i dont get how people put fast brushless systems in em without issues but slower motor overhets

Howdy shenlonko,you prob know this but the df03 al/oy hopup shocks r a direct fit,bit pricey but i have them on mine n they r so good,very good shocks if u can find em cheaper(i got em for 60g.b.p instead of 95g.b.p)now shes hard to flip,even on badly timed jumps etc,she keeps on truckin

N your welcome,im always looking for help on here,feels good to help someone for a change,im in u.k n still trying to get my bug the way i want it,done lots to my bug n still going,currently waiting on carbon shock tower,originl snapped on me,if your new to dt02,my advice would be,dont run it in street(it just cant take the knocks on concrete etc,avoid using your super grippers on road,2 runs n theyl look like slicks lol,anythin else just ask,p.s matt black will look lot better than gloss

Yup,thats it all,the square roof lights need paint too. Get chassis cover from hunter systems while theyv got them,n have look atansmann spot lights on fusion under genera body accesories,their much better n real spots should you choose to fit light kit in furure

Hey,you cant paint the shell,despite what people say,it will always flake,dont try painting it,youl waste your shell. Its the right colour of red yes,just stick decels on, the roof,spot lights,petrol cans,driver n roof lights all need painted(black looks good with red,fusion do some ansmann spotltights that look good on,n u can fit 4(3pound for pair,they alsondo. Carson all terrain. Wheel n tyre set(black)look good on bug
