Can anyone help me out with the main differences between the Tamiya Type RR, RZ, and TZ motors? They are all listed as 23-turn motors, and all seem to have the same rpm range. So if they are so similar, why are there 3 different ones?!?!?!?!?!?
The RZ (red end bell & laydown brushes) is slightly faster in a straight line (higher RPM) than the BZ so is more suited to faster tracks.
The TZ (blue end bell & standup brushes) is the opposite, slower in a straight line but has the bonus of more torque so accelerates and pulls better so is more suited for tigher twisty tracks.
The BZ is for off-road use as it has some built-in dust shields and has similar characteristics to the TZ.
