Hi Chaps! I got a great surprise from my girlfriend . The tiny boxes under the tree were socks , mini electric volcano , Jurassic park boxed set ( blu ) and a new wallet . Inside the wallet was a lottery ticket ( no didn't win )and a note saying " look in the storage cupboard ".... A SWEET CC-01 landcruiser that I had been looking at a month ago...... Nice one Lynda !!! Spent Christmas day in HEAVEN building , drinking , eating and driving my new ride around. I needed some paint so popped out to the local hobby shop on boxing day and got a great deal on a Subaru brat in the sales too

Just found this thread .. and have read the whole dang thing from start till now . I buy and sell on Ebay . I like to get things out the door asap . I take great pride making sure the items are well packaged and ready to post BEFORE the auction ends . this is a badword of a long wait . It took just 29 days for me to post a large parcel to Australia and i live in Scotland .that is from my door to his door . There are companies ( not sure if you have these in Australia )that come round and collect parcels . if you have his address why not send a parcel company to go to his place and pick it up ? 2 kits to go ....I'd be red hot angry !!! I really feel for you Matt

Hello , I'm new to this site , but have been a keen r.c enthusiast since 1989 . starting with the awesome Hornet . I have owned quite a few Tamiya buggys and trucks over the years . I then moved from cars to aero . up until recently never even thought about the world of Tamiya ......Until i passed a new model shop here in Aberdeen ,Scotland. In the window was a sand scorcher " holy ****" I exclaimed rather loudly , shocking fellow shoppers ..... walked in and drooled at the beauty . taking me back to those great days I had with my friends racing r.c cars As a kid I had always loved the look of Tamiya buggies and always wanted a monster beetle , blackfoot or blitzer but could never afford one . then just the other day I ordered the re release Blitzer Beetle online.. I have to wait for delivery from china but would like to hear if anyone has a Re release and what you think of it ... I take great pleasure building kits so look forward to spending a few nights building the beetle .
