  1. I believe those are the stock wheels for the TA02T f150 Baja. Nice rim sold mine on a vintage Camaro tl01
  2. I handed the controller of a real hopped up Tl01 to a neighbor. Turned my back and he had handed it to his 9 year old, who proceeded to rip all for corners out of the hpi 68 Camara shell it was carrying. The guys response aww man its great when kids find a new toy they like.. I wanted to turn the car into an enema just to prove a point. Tool. We live and learn.
  3. Blood red Blitzer rides again
  4. Managed to paint and mess up a brand new set of Blitzer wheels. Pfft impatience. They're for my runner so they will eventually look rough but to start that way... annoying
  5. Today I painted and spent time on a group page on FB. Proper bunch some from on here as well. Nice community feel.
  6. Twice I've seen that video today once on FB and not on here.
  7. Today I received most important parts, the rear axles and shock tower for my Blitzer Beetle restoration. Woohoo
  8. You could score close to the finish line with the blade, and then use the dremel to finish with sanding bit. Little bites rather than big bites.
  9. The wild one is my current favorite runner. No muss no fuss. Quick and fun. You'll truly want 2 or maybe a fast attack vehicle to keep it mixed up. Bearing are a real plus, everything else is a bonus. Is there anything else??? Oh I run a sport tuned motor for a little extra pep!
  10. Bwaahaahaha. And so it begins, a pair of wild ones, maybe a better start as you'll both want to drive. I started maybe 5 years ago and I'm still not sure which of the now 32 cars are for my kids to drive. lol welcome to the crazy house. I started a friend in the patient two months ago he's thinking about what his third car should be.
  11. If you need a home for some Lego. Let me know...love some lego.
  12. What did you use for the shafts, I've heard people use fishing rod, did you buy it special or have it lying around? I have the hop up in my Tl01 chassis from a crazy super hopped up one I did years ago and sold, never got around to installing the carbon shafts to the gearbox. Or I had 2 I don't remember. Thinking it might look good on the chassis I have if I make the drive shaft.
  13. Switched out the wheels on the 68, much more better, yeah More better.
  14. Cant go wrong with a hotshot, over time you`ll see and buy what you want and figure out what works best for you. I started with a few used bits and pieces and now have 32 in my fleet. Still havent figured out what we orks for me .... lol
  15. WT 01 has a narrow amorak version which is quite nice. Been tempted tovget one maybe for Christmas. Or my birthday, or because its Friday... better stop now whilst I still have a head
  16. Having restored a vintage subaru brat orv chassis and the aquiring a super blackfoot, I definitely prefer the super blackfoot drive train it just seems so much more robust. Looks good too after a got rid of the original obnoxious decals
  17. I`m trying to wrap my head around the three nib blazing blazers and the 6 nib ranger xlts
  18. I have a bunch of road cars and don't race them, I'm more about the bodies. My go to chassis are tt01, df03ra and for fancy a ta06. Not off road ing with ta06
  19. Wrong thread sorry!
  20. Just got notice that my Blitzer body mounts have arrived at work so...locking myself in the garage tonight to strip clean and grease ye Olde chassis. Hopefully that doesn't sound as dirty in your heads as it did in mine just now.. lol.
  21. Truly an awesome project, well done. Inspirational
  22. A new gear box tree for my blitzer beetle, as well as some stadium blitzer body mounts just in case, waitng on new beetle body mounts as the front upright was broken when I got it. Nothing exciting. Well maybe a little.
  23. Best way to bash.
  24. The ordering of a kit that was not going I to be IN INventory and to go to your order book and ask full msrp for IT when I said I Have found IT online, just says to me I dont want to bother ordering this for you. Last time I was I IN the Store heavy dump was 140 and tt02 kits were 127, so like I said not bad. No offence taken by the way. Its all good I understand what youre saying. And I buy most other things from them
  25. I think they both look good with the right set of wheel and tyres
