When I ordered the new set of Abismal shocks, I poached the set I had on the DT-03, and they work a treat.
Now, the replacement shocks have arrived, same length etc, and I've tried to fit them on the DT-03.
The two fronts feel like they're filled with liquid glue and the backs feel like the have water inside. You can easily see the difference if you dip your finger in the shocks. That's one FAIL to Abismal. I have a variety of damping discs to fit but can anyone advise on an oil to use. I'd like to at least start with the same oil in all four.
Yours irritatedly.
Stinky.
Extra virgin olive oil.

Started to make choices on what to keep and what to sell. I'm at 34 cars and need to get down to 25 again. I see deals and buy instead of seeing cars I want to buy. Weird. Then i put a seeet sjell on and love the set up so am in love with a chassis or a shell or both.
Decisions, decisions!

My mistake it's a scaler I like then.
There was a large scaler on YouTube but I can't remember the details.
I think it was Land Rover?

Yohe'sl need more than a LiPo to breath life into that thing. As I replied in the "postman" thread, get a Castle SCT combo and run it on a 5,000 mAh 35C (or better) battery and you'll be loving it. These trophy trucks are pretty trick. If I didn't already have an Arrma Fury as a general bash hound, I'd probably get an Axial Yeti trophy truck. They're pretty sick.
Cousin just bought the yeti, He's lovin IT

On my clod chassis that i just got. It jas an economy/ power switch. Is this not used on the modern set up. I only ask because this arrived with a mechanical speed control. I have my hobby wing 860 ready to go in once I put a battery plug on it. Hope this helps.

So today I drove from my home town to Ormond beach Fl. About a 3 and a half hour drive, on my way I stopped and picked up my first Clod buster on receiving the truck I exclaimed my disappointment at the cracked tires and broken body. I also mentioned the nice one that sold last night on ebay for 170. He felt bad and knocked another $50 off the price. fortunately I anticipated the bad tires and body and had ordered replacements already. home tomorrow night for rebuild.

Went to the road track with my cosin yesterday. After the LHS. He dropped 659$ on batteries wheels and a new axial score yeti truck.. i ran my ta02 40year and an old tt01 hotrod. I need more track practice. I slid hotrod ito tibing cracked both rims on one side. Went home and rebuilt it into a castle creation hellcat monster beast creature. Them put some dirt hawgs on my DF03 and a speed passion HK brushless combo in it. Waiting for universals and turnbuckles to finish it out.

Which New Build
in General discussions
Posted
Tundra high lift, I enjoyed it. Its a little pricey. But also the 40 year anniversary Ta02 jaegermiester porsche was a fun build. Cheap from Tamico.de ... the hop ups alone are worth the cost if the kit.
