I spent way to much money on a very, very tired Super Blackfoot, which has been painted bright orange by I assume a  three year old with a toilet brush.  You should have to blow in to a breathalyser before you can hit confirm bid on Ebay

Chassis doesn't look awful. Oven clean strip the body and buy a tailgate. No point crying over clicked buttons. You'll have fun no matter what.

Yep, and that's when I bought those Civic kits as well.  I had to have a hobby shop custom order them for me.  There was no ebay to turn to!

At this point I just wanted to make a decision as to a rough value right now.  I will keep if not worth much, but if worth a decent amount I may sell as I've had them for 20 years and not done anything with them, so at this point they are just collecting dust.  I found some hop-up parts that I bought for the FF01 chassis as well.  I had forgotten that I even bought them.

I have a feeling you just caused a bunch of the members on here to mess their pants. Nib no longer circulated and tamiya. Isnt thay like the trifecta

What's the shell on the far right, looks nice!

Thats a Parma 41 willys coupe. Hotrod. Wide enought for a sreet mod hornet chassis i was going to do just that then i put it on a ta06. Not wide enough chassis. So maybe back to hornet chassis. Its painted with a dusting of metallic purple the finished in black. Came out sweet. Decals are a bit naff.

Cool Dave as I've just nabbed a nice looking Baja King off EBay so I can't wait to try my F150 shell on it. At last I've finally got a TL01 (b) Chassis too ;)

Mine is converted down to a tl01 with a 53 f100 body. Ma go to the b chassis again one day. Gotta get tje Tl 01 body posts. Which are the same as WR 02 posts. Gives it the height you will need

Would a Tamiya Ford F-150 shell look okitsat on a TL01B Chassis?

Baja King + Baja Champ - This chassis is the on-road TL-01 variant with different front uprights and longer arms (to make it larger, thus more stable on off-road tracks).

So the TL01B was only the Baja King and Baja Champ but the body mounting and wing can be made to accept the Ford shell just want to know if it would look odd, how wide is the Baja King /Champ?

I did IT some years back with a ford raptor body for a stampede. With some nice crawler tires I liked IT.

 I like the OD Green and if you want to hide the fingerprint should OCD come to you, well, you could go for a woodlands camo job on it???

Woodlands Camo, spoken like a true Texan.... we're all about the mossy oak down here in Florida. I personally am more a digital urban camo guy.

REAL Good there and I think . you didn't have to paint them that yellow either, my 2 cents worth.

I sure wish I could live with my parent, but I don't think my wife is ready for that dynamic.  I think that is the same workbench from Harbor Freight tools that I gave my mom for her birthday last year, I built it for her in her garage and she uses it and enjoys it a lot, can't say I got to put a Tamiya car together on it, but there is some time I will spend with her this summer that I could fiddle with something there. I like the OD Green and if you want to hide the fingerprint should OCD come to you, well, you could go for a woodlands camo job on it???

Woodlands camo so sayith the Texan  Lol My wife couldnt do I

  11. Yesterday actually. Traded back my dark impact that i built last year for my cousins TA06 that he coulsnt handle. Then tallied up the damage as the Df03 was now running bend universals bent tie rods bauld tires on all four corners and thr tops of the front and rear shock towers were suffering from serious road rash. Over $100 in parts ordered. Re set up his Ta06 with his electronics....idiot proof stuck hos scion shell and wheels back on. Boxed it up and texted him the parts bill. Kid with too much spare money living with his folks at 24. Annoying. Ordered my clodbuster body for my new to me clod im picking up next weekend. And finished painting up my original wheeler accidentally thumb printed a few areas so if I choose to be OCD a repaint maybe needed.

  12. If youre just bashing cheap as chips is the way to go of youre going flashy and racing then consider a bit more money servo. Take it slow and test the waters. There are alot of products out there that will do the job. Dont spend more than a 10er to start on sevos.

Hey that doesn't look too bad at all! I'd venture to say that the Raptor she'll shares the same stretched look on the Stampede as the standard body, which actually looks a lot better on the Blackfoot chassis because of the slightly shorter wheelbase. The Stampede body has always looked too short for the Stampede

How do the body mounts line up? If I popped a couple holes would it work out?

The bodies come without holes. The rear post alignment seems a little short in the Raptor! Maybe if the body posts were flipped you'd have a better mounting position. The f250 body there are no issues just drill and go. Im pretty sure anyway.
