  1. Off all the things in the picture, mind you,it does look a bit ' where's wally' lol I didn't know any of that re bigfoot, but,In the UK, Monster trucks ain't that big of an event, which I never understood.Starting to get more, but nothing like the high flying, double backflipping trucks that are state side. My playskool bigfoot met the same fate as my holiday buggy, (on 5th Nov).Found a nip orange blossom and pull sled on ebay,£15 for both... Delivered!!
  2. Having posted a pic in the General Discussion section,I thought I would move it to the correct section! I only thought there was one BigTrak! Lurking in the background (actually hidden by the boxes) is Bigfoot's brother in the playskool range, 'orange blossom','pull sled' and 'performance center'!! I remember it as a drink too,but only found it to be an apple on YouTube, not sure if the UK had a different advert to the USA? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u6V-tuOf3dE
  3. Quite alot of 80's stuff in that picture, I'm counting 10 at least! (doesn't look as messy in 'real life' though, may need a tidy up sometime soon) You can get a BigTrak on ebay for less than £20
  4. Decided to run a regen cycle charge my Nimh batteries. ***NOTE*** When you have a few sets of batteries, make sure it's what you think it is! Somehow had a Nicad snook in (same colour shrink wrap as nimh),went off with some bang.
  5. It's a question that gets asked on a daily basis, either at work,on FB, by my family and now on a tamiya forum! No rot,it's all been cut out and new panels welded in, even made an isofix bracket for the wee ones car seat last night in work. Still got the RC projects to get stuck into aswell yet!
  6. Snowflakes yes, black no, way too many of those about, even over here!! Staring at the screen the day after trying to convince yourself it's an eBay mistake or the wife must have ordered it,then wondering why she would want a full sized drum kit!! lol
  7. Hard but not impossible! A tarpaulin "to stop stuff getting damp hun" hides parts quite well. Also swapping the RC cars around every so often helps. She hasn't noticed I have 2 Dark Impacts yet!
  8. For £15 you can get your name on bloodhound. I think if you strapped a hybrid rocket to an RC car, (need to be carefull here),in a responsible way,in a closed off area etc, higher than 202 would be possible. 202 mph+ and still being in complete control, there lies the problem,I'm bad enough with a fusion at 70! To hit 202,in control is an absolutely fantastic bit of engineering. Where to run another issue,LSR cars had bonneville salt flats (salt mining has seen that off), 1/10 scale also means stones are 10x bigger!
  9. I'm 12hrs and live in Scotland! lol Just those odd couple of days in the summer,Sundays especially, when everywhere is quiet,it's awesome.
  10. Working shifts,I keep a runner in the boot of the car when working nights. If the weather is favourable on the way home,I stop and have a bash. I do feel guilty not running them enough though, like caged animals that should be let out into the wild! Building crude shelving in the garage eased the guilt a bit,at least they get looked at every day.
  11. Hardened pinion arrived,to make a "five stars" hardened slipper shaft rep for my newly purchased dark impact from Sandster.
  12. Correct! Marui Coors Thunderbird I thought the adjustable rod for off road / on road would be a clue.
  13. Are there rules about clues? It's not got an anti roll bar.
  14. There's enough obscure bits of that laying about in every room of the house!
  15. I only recognised it as I snapped mine off! lol Slight disadvantage Sandster, you looked at the garage wall collection yesterday!
  16. Holiday buggy?
  17. If you've had no PM's I'll take it off your hands.
  18. Hope the pic helps.
  19. I'll second that, Plus, have you seen the price the samurai's are selling for?!? Me too. X2 ninja's and a Coors Thunderbird in my line up for re builds soon, when I say soon,I mean maybe next year!
  20. I just stupidly presumed that, because I could drive/race an RC car, without thinking about the controls,a helicopter would be a learnable experience. With 4 channels to think about and little margin for error is bonkers!! (still kind of fun though). Airwolf looks the business, just priced a conversion at £130, so think it's on the back burner.
  21. Wow,I would never have guessed a twister! Can you buy conversions? Although both my twisters are now, well, twisted! (just couldn't get flying a helicopter right, and you don't get second chances!)
