I couldn't find a Marui Ninja i bought for spares.Turned out the wife had packed the box away with her shoes?!? She said the box looked like a shoe box.Yeah, clown shoes maybe!

I have never seen tamiya wheels snap like that, cracked a bit from over tightening, but not snapped. Hats off to you!

Not long taken delivery of the troll tyres (the last set pictured, also the red versions are half the price of the black?!?). Not had chance to run them yet,but they are a bit wider than stock sand scorcher tyres (as shown in the eBay scorcher pic) and rub slightly on the shock coilover.

Welcome back to RC! I was 20 yrs+ away and one of the first things I wish I done after getting back into it,was to get a brushless motor and lipo set up. The difference is night and day.The speed is immense and you can tune them via laptop (depending which setup) to deliver varying power,so you can reduce to 10% power, for younger drivers
-
I did think that, couldn't find any fronts though. Did wonder if I could find a suitable offset rear wheel to enable run on the front too.

Best reason there is! Note - pyrotechnics serioisly destroy rc equipment.

Looked into this a while back, Found these :- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361370636878 Didn't buy them in the end,so not sure how well they fit.

That's Genius!! Strapped a few rockets to a holiday buggy, lit them by hand, so therfore, they didn't fire at the same time = uncontrollable holiday buggy, not going straight, people diving for cover then one wrecked and melted buggy.

Everything's tappity tap these days, bet there's even an app for it! Back in my day.......

I think the best way (and not to dissimilar to full scale,as I don't know anyone that runs a button like on f+f) would be to run a mech speed control, but set it so full normal power is 3/4 on the stick, then position a microswitch so that it's triggered when full throttle is applied. To charge a single 1.2 cell, just bung it in the normal household battery charger.

You could run it through a relay and an extra nicad/ nimh cell. Relay open= 7.2v feeding motor, relay closed = 8.4v (+) with extra cell in series to the motor? You can then say,' It'll easily take a bigger hit,I'll just up it a bit' with another cell etc until you blow the motor! Just like nitrous If it's a 6v output from the receiver, then it should be fairly easy to do? Fit the extra cell to the front like a moon tank, or colour it the same as a nitrous express, zex,or nos bottle!!

I too would say lunchbox (or midnight pumpkin etc) would be better, as baring a perfectly manicured, bowling green type, lawn, most RC's struggle,to the point of melting the stock tamiya plugs (been there, done that).

Help wanted by someone from the USA (ebay auction)
Wooders28 replied to TamiyaBB's topic in General discussions
The first thing they will see is the none US address and say they ain't shipping outside of the US.GRRRR I had exactly the same, when a (now) family member had relatives coming over for their wedding, so I emailed to say send the parts to their US address. I got all the abuse they could think of,plus reported to ebay etc etc. Ebay looked at the emails, then told the guy to actually read the emails! Parts arrived, with parts missing, but what I needed where there. -
Obsolutely, that is the reason I said for the option for them to cancel the listing, and the reason I have not sent monies yet. We have all made mistakes, some more costly than others! So not trying to hinder the seller. I have never canceled a listing myself, but,a seller in the US has done in the past, and did it straight away.

Guessing it must be fairly rare. If it doesn't work out, post a wanted add on here, you never know!! -
They are new to ebay so have emailed back with 2 options, Send it me,as I have bought it fair and square,(although I haven't actually paid yet,as they wanted extra money straight after the auction ended) or Cancel the listing, it got broken after sale or whatever, and then they can re list with a reserve. I would have thought a cancellation request would have appeared in my inbox within minutes, but nothing but, come to an arrangement emails!

If the seller has listed the item for the US only, you won't be able to place a bid anywhere else in the world. All you can do is email the seller,or get someone to bid, pay and ship it to you, which is a big ask if you don't know them. I have this trouble getting my 1:1 parts, most of the time a simple email will work,if there are no bids, but if lots of bids, then little chance I am affraid. -
Great find! I would put my money on the 'procat',but wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong. I remember it came out just before the RC scene seem to go touring cars, and I lost interest. They are fetching good money now, I keep looking!

I have one for sale in the sale section, as a project with a full NIP body and haven't had a sniff of interest!!
