  1. here i have a set of Brand new Tamiya TLT axels. I purchased theses a few months ago for a projects that i never got around to doing, Theses are fully buit up and fully metal ballraced and greased with high temp grease. They have never been ran and only one of the axels has ever been mounted. I do have some other bits that go with the axels but forgot to picture them, which ill do at a later date.( probablly later on ) Im open to offers on theses thorw me a number.
  2. For Sale is my beloved Tamiya Tundra These properly lifted 3 speed trucks rarely come up so grab it while you can! It has plent of upgrades installed ill list them below Junfac 4 Link Kit Gmade Zero Shocks 2.2 beadlock rims and tyres (think there axial rims and tires with proline beadlocks) 3 Racing winch + controller with Radshape Rc land anchor + tree saver strap/towrope Light Kit which can do indicators Axial Scx10 Rear cage and bed Axial SCX10 Front bumper and light buckets. hpi 35t motor mavirck rock crawler ESC (think it has drag brake and can run lipos) fully ballraced Rear Mud flaps (attatched to rear bumper which needs bolting back on) Snorkle Sand ladders High torqe servo for steering ( coated with black silicone ) Both Diffs are locked no gear servo installed as i just run it in 2nd gear but a servo is provided for this. it also comes with a tub full of spare bits as this was totally new and stock when i got it. the tub includes bits like spare bearings for the gearbox, shock oil , servo and most of the original parts. 2 Light lens kits ( yellow and clear ) 4x spare Pro Line Dirt Hawk Tyres on Hpi chrome rims ( Not Glued ) The rear bed of the tundra also have a NewBright LR3 Disco shell that i cut down and fits perfectly with the axial cage and looks mega. Acoms techniplus 4 with carbon fiber H shifter plate and futaba neck strap. there may also be the odd other bit laying around ive forgot to mention and take pics of. The Tundra shell is a bit tatty and could do with a respray and bit of filler here and there but its solid and nothing major. This hasnt been a shelf queen and has given me many hours of enjoyment and hopefully will to the new owner too. id like £400 as theses are rare theses days. and not many people are willing to part with them. genuine reason for sale due to funding a new project. Sorry but this is UK only. and would prefer Cash on Collection, But would consider paypal aslong as You pay the Fees! Any question feels free to contact me.
  3. im after an scx10 or trailfinder 2, ive got a few things for sale or swap. tammiya tundra hilift CC01 with a hardbodied jeep rubicon shell. trailfinder chassis only, sale or swap all have spares and bits and bats, the tundra has loads of bits for it. all the original bits etc. message me if u wanna know more or if ur interested cheers
  4. as the title states im after an scx10. preferably the newer version but an older one would be considerd. what you got people cash waiting for right deal
  5. Thanks for the ideas, and for the Part number id need. i have however managed to lock the rear diff by placing one of the spider cogs between the other two, this seemed to work and ive heard a few people do it this way. ive stil got the front to go but that loocks more complicated to get to as it looks like it have to removed the front driveshafts etc. im thinkin leave the front until some new tyres come then do the lot at once, as i plan on doing the steering mod and possibly trying to get a bit more travel in the front. asi said, thanks again guys
  6. thanks for that i kinda had some idea of things to use just trial an error really i suppose as i didnt buy it new im not aware of the part name or number to lock the diffs if i were to buy the proper bit. thanks for the help though much appriciated
  7. looks like a good build, ive got the m03 chassis with a batterd mini body. ive had my m03 for about 10year if not longer, its been well bashed but stil goes strong! has the original 540 sport tuned motor and manual ESC still, and stil goes strong! ill be keeping an eye on this build for sure
  8. hi guys, as the thread title states, whats the best way to lock the front and rear diffs on the cc01. i heard they had a diff locking kit?, how true that is i dont know, i already locked the rear diff with some bits of plastic i had laying about, but that lasted all of about 5 mins, so what im asking, is there any specfic way to the the front and rear diffs? or anything in particular that works well?. ive thought about soldering the diff up, but not sure on how strong itd be? thanks guys hope to get some good ideas and input cheers
  9. hes the vid i made today. Bare in mind the diffs wernt locked, the tyres wernt glued, they were standad tyres, and im using a manual speed contoller contolled by a servo so its kinda of either on or off lol. will be good to look back when ive done the mods for a comparison not sure how u embed them on here so ive had to just link it could anybody tel me how to embed videos please? http://youtu.be/REX__vDNPMU?t=12s
  10. yeah thats pritty much what ill be doing to this, they seem the most "done" mods so to speak, regard to the body lift, i currently have it mounted with some velcro which seems to hold up pritty good, i may raise it sllightly when i get some new wheels and tyres. LOL dont i know it, been looking around at some of the mods and prices, i can see myself with a very veryempty wallet and a very unhappy misses lol! anyway, i had it out again today with the rear diff locked, it only lasted about 5minuetes before the plastic i used to locked just gave way, so im back to lsd's. What s the best recommended way to lock the diffs on the cc-01? any specific way best or is just locking it up with anything i find the best option? i also got rid of the stock pajero front bumper and made myself a lillte skidplate out of some spare alluminium i had laying about off an old pc case. ill add some pics later on, i also did a quick video but am currently waitin for it to upload, all be it on the vid the diff wasnt locked and tyres wernt glued so it was struggeling like a b*!@h
  11. thanks for that, defo going to lock the diffs, new tyres + wheels and possibly a 4link conversiion with the skidplate. 2day i had it out in the mud and it really was sturggling gettining anywhere without the diffs locked. so i decided to bring it back in, and get on with a bit of diff locking, this is now done on the rear just have the front to go, while i was doing t i gave it a bit of a lift on the rear, with some body posts i had laying about, ( i think there off a cc01 anyway ) definatley neeeds a bit of a lift on the front. this has give it a nice height all round and also gave a bit of travel in the rear. im happy with the result, perhaps the front needs a few washers too? Uploaded with ImageShack.us i also cut the ends of the stock pajero bumper and meshed it, looks alot better IMO, stil needs a few bits trimming here and there but looks better.
  12. thanks for that bit of info, and nice build i have to say, i was thinking along the lines of somthing like this ( please see ebay link) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ansmann-Racing-T...1#ht_977wt_1226 now these are 108mm, so would probablly require some cutting nd trimming etc, but they come with the wheel look im after....the old "steel" rim look im definatley going to look into the RC4WD prowler tyres! thanks for the link. one thing im curious to know, whats the biggest size shocks i could get on the cc01 without having to cut away millions of bits of the tub chassis, im trying to keep it in as much of one original piece as possible.
  13. thanks for that willl take a look at that, yeah ive dived in at the deep end so to speak lol, but its all a learning curve i suppose. are theses chassis particulaly hard to mod or is it the fact im doing it based off the disco shell thats gona be the hard part, either way im going to have to get through it one way or anohther. to get a truley scale look im after ive been told about the junfac 4link mod with skidplate, is it worth doing? Yes as far as im aware this was a shortwheel base cc01, which carrera lengethed for the disco shell, if i remmebr correctly, all that was needed was the longer drive shaft.
  14. hi guys, 1st off im new here, so id like to say Hi to all tamiyaclub members ive been into rc'ing for a few years now but have mainly been into nitro's, ive currently 4 rc's 2nitro and 2 tamiyas. HPI savage, Ansmann Virus, Tamiya M03 Mini cooper, CC-01 i still class myself as a fellow newbie as in all honesty i dont know much about electric rc's. iv bought the CC-01 off a fellow TC member ( CARRERA ) it came with a newbright disco hardbodi shell. ive orderd some body mounts off another TC member, not sure of his username but CARRERA put me onto him about them, the guy is called ant? anyway, ive got it up and running, all be it with a vintage manaul speed controller ( out the m03 ) as i didnt have a spare esc knocking about. im loving some of the scale disco build ive seen about so decided to give it ago myself. sofar ive not really done anything to the cc01 apart from get it up and running and have a little bash in the garden. is there any "Must DO" mods to the cc01 to make it better, im after lots of axel atriculation and a highlift kind of look. but keeping it scale at the same time. anyway heres a few pics of whats it looking like at the minuee, im hopeing to get some better shocks, possibly a 4link suspension mod, and some 1.9 crawler tyres. and of course lots of scale accesories. hope to get some good ideas of mods and how to make the best of my cc001 of fellow cc01 owners and fellow tamiyaclub members
