  1. Ah ok. No wonder I didn't recogize these. I'm not familiar with those trucks (King Cab and Monster Racer). Thanks!!!
  2. Like the blackfoot or something along those lines?
  3. Hi all. I need help identifying these two things. Got these with some Fox parts I got from ebay. First... Tamiya B parts tree... but to what? I can't tell. Second... looks like protection for a motor... What model is this for? FYI... these will go onto ebay unless anyone wants them... Thanks for your help!
  4. Got some good runs in today... hit 24mph on flat surface!
  5. I think I'd look for something else to do after the 2nd day. But all the power to the man... He's definitely dedicated. And if it makes him happy, all the better. He's definitely not married... doesn't have a girlfriend... or a life ouside his basdement...
  6. So, if mine is this fast (19 mph)... I can't imaging 34 mph!!!! Wow!
  7. GPS app on phone indicated max speed of 19mph with 20 turn motor and 7 cell battery. But it's a little rainy outside and I didn't make more than two short runs.
  8. Where did you order the arms from? I would love to get a set! BTW... ALl 3 Fox lok stellar! NICE!!!
  9. I don't think you can put two rods on the upper rear arm because the shock would be in the way. I'm going by his photos and my memory... without actually looking at my Fox.
  10. Found an android app that is supposed to measure top speed. Looking forward to trying it out.
  11. Great pics! I like how you changed that rear upper arm to the ball joints. That's a GREAT IDEA. Do you find any problems with that? 27 tooth... wow! That's amazing.
  12. Don't worry. I don't feel poo-poo'd... Lol. It's good to get this kind of feedback since I was just going off an assumption (Stampede advertising). Did you use a GPS, or an app on your phone to measure speed? My GPS doesn't keep max speed, just displays current speed. And I'd love to be able to measure speed so I can measure how well a change benefits the fox. 19 tooth fit just fine in the gear box. No mods at all. I took the dremel to my chassis to fit the 7 cell (I have a spare chassis standing by before I made that mod). Fits snug. I have my new rear wheels and once I get the new front wheels I will charge it up and take it for a spin... hopefully will be able to get a top speed reading.
  13. Keep us posted! This is interesting to read and follow. GPS are amazing... cool to get actual speeds. You should get a big boost from Lipos, at least from what I understand about Lipos...
  14. Interesting. His brushless Stampede is advertised to do 40+ and I outran him (barely) last weekend with the 20 turn motor and a 19tooth pinion. Maybe their estimate is off, or it only does 40+ going downhill... lol. Either way, I'm happy with how fast it is... and that's what counts right? The wheels/tires I picked up today fit nice. Need to go back and pick up some new fronts and I'll be ready to run it with a 7 cell...
  15. Ah! Good thread and good info. Thanks!
