Here's what I have. I have a Ta03R with FRP Chassie Conversion. With both pulleys at 16 teeth. My motor gearing is 17. Runs great forward but when I go reverse belt comes off pulley. and goes into motor. Can anyone help.

Awesome paint color combination. Where you get your exhaust system looks so real.

These look really good. I use Hobbywing stuff already and I'm very impressed for the price they charge. I need some cut-offs for my older brushed ESCs so these look like the ones to go for. Damned clever idea too using the Balance Tap to read the voltage, it saves the balance plug getting filled with crud too

Just out of interest, what Balance Tap type is that socket, it looks like JST/XH to me but I can never quite remember there are so many different types :\
Its the balance port plug. I think its jst.

Awesome thanks I know the voltage to set. I just got my Lipo today no more old stuff for me. YEA, What a difference.

For what it's worth, I wrote a FAQ/Guide here:

I have been asked many times over the same things and thought I'd blast my ideas down in a guide.
Thank you for the article very nice and informative.

I've had a Thunder AC6 for some time now. It's been absolutely great. I've charged everything from AA nimh, up to 1:1 scale 12v car batteries, and it just keeps on going. Not bad for $50. Plus all the different style plugs and clamps it includes are really nice. I even decorated mine with some carbon fiber look vinyl and a large Tamiya decal...

Can you post some pic of your charger I wanna see what it looks like.

It all good, We make mistakes. I have 3 transmitters too. and some day im going to switch to 2.4 and 3 recievers.
-
the only thig you need to do is adjust the cut-off limit, takes a few seconds and thats it.
How to determine what voltage to adjust.

I would check from reviews on youtube. Im getting a http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html . Thunder A6 whichs has videos and customer reviews.
Im ordering my lipo batteries from hobbyking. Got 2 batteries for $25.00 includes shipping.

So are they just plug and play and turn off when batery voltage is to low.
-
I have ordered one of these hope it works. a lipobattery alarm made from hobbypartz.

How about this charger Thunder AC6 Smart 5-in-1 Balance Charger/Discharger w/ AC Adapter for 1-6 Cell Lipo/Lilo/LiFePo4 + 1-15 Cell Nimh/NiCD.
-
If the charger you are looking at comes with this feature thats a bonus but I wouldn't pay extra for it. I would be more concerned with Lipo charge and balance. Breaking in motors was really only important for racing and with most racing now using brushless not much need for breaking in motors anymore.
Got it thanks.
Any charger you recommend.

Hey guys I need your opinion what charger would you buy that has motor controls for breaking in motors.
-
I was thinking about the same thing.

Called Futaba and man what awesome service there going to send me a plug for free what awesome service.

Black can Sport Tuned are my #1 upgrade. I hardly ever use silver cans.
The Sport tuned can surprise you sometimes if you have a well built car with very free wheeling ball bearings and gears.
Can be faster than you expect! I have a Sport Tuned in my Buggy champ, and it's geared with the lowest gearing.
Here's the vid of it on the beach. No sped up video either (although there is a lot of slow motion). Real speed with Sport Tuned and lowest gearing.

awesome video

Duratrak Does anyone know what type of connector the Switching power supply takes.
-
i like sport tuned motors, they will not "dazzle you with speed" but they are a nice upgrade to the silver can. they last forever just like the silver can.
i'd take a sport tuned over a cheap "modified" motor any day.
for example i have a brand new 19t venom fireball, the sport tuned will run circles around it.
Awesome thanks Ill order one as my last hop up.
-
Does anyone know if the servo saver for the super champ will fit a rough rider without any mods.
-
I have pdf file for the older lemans motors just email me and ill send to you.

Is this motor worth getting RS540 Sport Tuned.

This is how I added Lipo to my TA03R. Made my own battery holder.
