I know nothing about the e savage esc but I imagine your first guess is spot on full throttle from standstill asks too much of your batteries and voltage drops off below a cut off build into the esc
-
If he is going to put it in his backpack and modify it to get the most I think size is the biggest issue and while not a kit. A losi mini rock crawler shouldn't be discounted. It runs well cheap parts and smaller scale makes it super portable.

I converted mine into a tractor truck with some bruder parts. Looks pretty cool. Gonna flat bed it and use it as a tow truck for my losi mini rock crawler
-
Perfect thanks very much the chocolate tamiya one gave up when I exposed it to some 4250k brushless. Ironically the plastic gears appear untouched.

Hi Wood5tock great thread. A quick question if you are in the uk where did you get your pinion from I need a new one for my madbull and they appear to have the same gearbox as your buggy. Cheers

I just got a losi mrc myself off of eBay it needs afew parts but is a great little truck in an unusual scale welcome and great collection.

I did the above briefly with a forward only and 2 17t motors in my wild dagger. It was abit silly so slowed it back down again on silver cans lol. -

Traxxas evx is a winner no lipo cut offs though. I run mine on 5s and a dewalt 820 hammer drill motor. Doesn't even struggle. The evx 2 is waterproof to boot -

Will it not load up/ end up dragging the wheels if you don't power one of the motors?

My crawler scaler build
dyahipfakta replied to Daves956's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
Awesome project would love something similar myself. Body set looks really good -
I like the ta series and belt drive I find it a much more complex build I rebuilt a ta04 recently and really enjoyed that as its way different to the tt01 and tb01 can't comment on anything more modern though lol
-
For sale is my Ta04 runner. I bought it as a mini resto fitted a few parts to get it running and moved house. I now don't really have the space to run it so I am looking to send it along down the line. The details are that it is a Ta04 with clk dtm shell that is abit battered. It is fully ballraced, has oil shocks, titanium upgraded centre shaft and alloy spur holder both Tamiya hop ups. Wheels, tyres and shell are used but good for practice. I have has to make a battery retainer as one is missing and there are some marks on the chassis as one would expect with it being used. Recent spur and pinion that are well suited for the silver can. Sold as a roller with steering servo and silver can and some spare bits and bobs. Asking for 50 + postage at cost. Any more questions please ask
-
Incidentally if anyone has any of the front blanks going spare I would appreciate them. I have 3 gearboxes some how lol

Postage query from Hobbyking \ International Orders?
dyahipfakta replied to AndyjcClod's topic in General discussions
My money is customs have it be prepared for a bill. -
I do very much agree with the above statement I will tell you how correct it is after I have had a run with my 4250k lol
-
The oil shocks from an ansmann mad rat are a direct fit for 5 pounds on eBay. A very good budget alternative.
-
The only way I found to mod the steering meant removing some of the front suspension uprights. The inevitable eventually happened and it snapped.
-
Cut em out replace with netting would be cool. Don't worry about the electrics just clean them ever so often
-
Hpi rush uses different bearings on front but the uprights fit your just need to make new steering arms.
-
Any rear hex 2.2s will I have hpi rush wheels on mine.
-
Lunchbox wheels won't really work I don't think better off gettin a couple of rear wheels and replacing the tyres.
-
They have splined hexes and rear axels. It should be the same for the fighter buggy though. If you ebay madbull hex it should bring them up. I love my mad bull.
