  1. @Badcrumble

Thanks, Pink one is my Daughter's, Yellow is my Son's I bought these 8 or 9 years ago. My son is not really into it anymore I don't think, he prefers his drone. The Yellow wheels are from a Blackfoot I believe. 2 of the Chassis are Blackfoot that I converted to 4WD. I still have the front dummy boxes from them if I ever decide to go to 2WD. I wanted to Lock the Diffs in the rear and use them in the snow, but never got around to it. When I was a kid i had a Clodbuster I ended up selling in my 20's (should have kept it) as it was the Original.

Anyway, I have recently purchased a p407 and have gotten these out, specifically the Clod-Hunter.. I am going back to the wide stance as narrow stance it not quite what I was after. I will still use the Wild Willy Wheels and lower the body.. I will take  picture of the truck when done. I also need to get a set of LEDs for the Headlights of the Clod Body and light those up with the Roll bar.

Will a 3 channel gun type Tx and Rx make the shifting work? say a Flysky GT3C Tx and the matching Rx

I have the same question. I purchased the p407a as I always wanted the Bruiser as a kid but I am not that into RC that I want to spend a huge amount for a truck that will get some use and be modified.

I have a Flysky GT3B That I will put the hack firmware on, but would like to find out how to setup the 3rd channel to control the 3 speeds

  3. I have 2 of those 2WD front boxes...

My son has a Dual Hunter, my truck is a Blackfoot converted to 4wd, and my daughter has a Blackfoot with a Parma Beetle body tisll in process of going to 4wd.

We like using them in the snow and I have found the 4wd helps for this. I need to finish her car up so we can run them all again.. Mine is setup like the Amarok with narrow swing arms and WW2 tires..

So Jeff, I have 2 questions:

1.) Do you use plastic E-maxx shocks?

If yes, how do they perform?

2.) Do you use tamiya sport tuned motors?

If yes, aren't they timed? Do they run at the same speed?

    1) Yes I think they are E-MAxx ( I know they are traxxas)

They seem to work well for me

    2) I don't recall, when I bought them there were a few variations in them, I need to check.. I did not think the ones I have were timed differently
