Hi. I have been looking on a couple of other forums, and there seems to be a shortage of crawler people in Essex. Tempted to get one but cannot imagine it being great fun solo. So I was wondering if there are some out and about in Essex, or shall I save my money and just buy another great fun Tamiya vehicle.

I did not get my Lunchbox finished so ended up not going, positive was that I got my wife a fish tank so hopefully when the next R/C project arrives she may be too busy to notice.

Gave up trying to set up my esc for the Lunchbox had a chat with Andy at Modelsport over the phone he agreed to send a replacement. Then went out with the wife and bought a tank. Sadly not a Sherman but a fish tank. Still she's happy now.

Thought I would set up and run my chassis round the lounge. Read the manual remembered the bit about unplugging the motor, also the fact I need it for a brushed motor. Finally got a green LED correct for brushed motors. Motor not running not sure what to do next. I read that there was a batch of these that were being exchanged by shops as they were not working. All suggestions ideas welcome.

Hi thanks for your replies, I have logged into fb and then clicked the link and still nothing. I have also tried searching under Fairlop waters r/c still nothing.

So far two posts on here, made the wife a cup of tea and got ready for work. When I get home the plan is to get some primer on my Lunchbox shell. I want to get it ready for Fairlop on Saturday.

Some great ideas, and excellent looking tractors. How many people race these?? Should there be a club? Finish my Lunchbox and I think I will have to get one, will want to lose the cowboy and replace with someone else.

I am hoping to get the 14th off, is this event still on??

I thought about the Farm King before I got the Lunchbox but I am still not sure about the spoiler at the back it looks more like a scoop. I still have not seen one in real life only the photos on line. Once the LB is finished I will have another look. If I do I might go for John Deere colors.

Ended up with a black lunchbox. Next could be a Farm King or a WW2.

I could never get into Knight Rider back in the day not sure why, even tried watching a couple of episodes recently and still could not get into it, never watched Air Wolf, Street Hawk, or McGuyver . The fall Guy always seemed a little slow paced, but was still enjoyable, but I never rushed home for it. One thing I could never figure with the A Team was as a crack commando unit they were very poor shots, and although having watched most of them I bought a boxed set about 5 years ago and found that best remembered through rose tinted glasses although like a lot of 80's T.V it did have a few good one liners.

Started on my lunchbox. Photos to follow but everyone knows what they look like. Also watched Ken Block drifting a MAN truck around on youtube. Been pricing up a non Tamiya rock crawler.
