some great comments everyone. I have got to try and get some time off at weekends to visit a couple of local clubs and see if they would be interested in getting involved in something next year. -
fusion vector charger stopped working!

Thanks for your comments. Had a word with the shop who supplied it Saturday lunchtime and they agreed to exchange it. Saturday evening had an e-mail from them to say replacement dispatched including prepaid packaging to return the faulty one. -
Every hobby I have had there have always been loads of magazines attached to it. Before the internet I can remember buying 4 Land Rover mags a month only to find similar features usually a month apart. Over the last few months I have found that one issue of a magazine associated with this hobby is really enjoyable and I read it cover to cover the next month I only read 5 or 6 pages. My feeling is that if you have the cash to spare and have a broad interest in R/C buy the mags. But for help and advice sign up to this or similar forums. This forum is a great read.

essexbill replied to JWeston's topic in Meetings & Events
I hope this event is a great success, just gutted I cannot attend due to work commitments. If there is another one next year I will be there. -
So we have an event in Nottinghamshire, Norfolk, and Lincolnshire! All doable for me but is there never anything nearer London. How do the people in the South West get On?

Great thread keep it up, and then use it.

The problem is that the only light I get on the charger is power when I plug a pack in, but the charger does nothing. -

tornado 3300 nimh from Modelsport only been used twice charged at 2 amps -
Hello . Only used it three times since new. Today put one pack on charge left it for about 5 minuets, fan had stopped and fast/slow lights had gone out. Got a good 20 minuets run time plugged pack back in and nothing just the power light when pack is plugged in.

Run my lunchbox round, tried to film it on my phone. 30 seconds of video with about 6 seconds of lunchbox in it rest was path and grass. look at loads of cars on line e-bay and all the usual U.K shops. and also tried to figure out why my fusion vector charger stopped working.

Hi. Trying to work to a budget (don't we all) I have been looking at tt01 cars 2nd hand often have damaged shells and by the time you replace that it can equal the cost of a new one. Been looking at the Lancia as seen on the Iconic R/C review but also looking at the Subaru team Arai.

I have tried a drift car a few times on a wooden floor and tiled floor. For me not to much fun. I wondered how much work and what parts are need to change a drift spec tt01 back to a touring car ? Is it just a case of tyres? Thanks everyone.

First thing I sorted out yesterdays dodgy paintwork on my LB, went to work where a kind young lady figured out how to load photos on here. Got home had hot dog and doughnuts from the fair( great for a sunday dinner). Got the stickers I had printed yesterday on the LB. Sunday the 13th. Brilliant.

What a great fun truck you have there. I nearly bought one of these but opted for a Lunchbox instead. Going to add it to my want list.

Great videos/stills. Good to see the event well supported. As I cannot get the time of to go to Grantham, I am hopefully going to try to get to your next event.
