  1. he he, I'm pleased that I can help you. WT-01 is my heart-chassis, since nearly 3 years. I think I must write a build-thread of my Blackfoot III...
  2. To get better grip it's useful to mount beadlocks. I search for it and find the Gmade 2.2'' GT Beadlocks. They are not expensive and looks awesome. But the offset is a bit smaller than the original Tamiya rims. User "backtomyroots" have these rims: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41184 I think, if the wide of the truck would be smaller, but you can change it by using the 4mm longer TL-01 axles: http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index.php?firma=Tamiya&best=50808 What do you think, good deal?
  3. Bax! I drive with them... 3 times, than they was broken. The little shaft isn't steel, simple alloy/aluminum. I changed all dogbones zu Ofna 79mm dogbones and they never brake and never came out. I think OFNA uses hardened steel, perfect quality. The GPM CVDs I canceled forever from my list. -.-
  4. 4300kv? on 2S or 3S? This is fast I think! There are harded axles in black, for TL-01. But it fits also on WT01, I using them. Look: http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index.php?firma=Tamiya&best=54048 http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index.php?firma=Tamiya&best=53218 You can also use longer axles: http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index.php?firma=Tamiya&best=50808 There are 39mm long, normal is 35. So it could be mor stable. Ever tried this?
  5. 2. GPM shock towers and 93mm shocks for massively extended suspension travel Yeah! I also use shock towers and want Gmade 93mm Shocks. Is the suspension very soft or bit hard? I think about 2WD brushless. Is there a rule what I must consider before I buy abrushless kit? Especially for WT01, I mean.
  6. mmmh I think in 2016 the Blackfoot modells are 30 years old, could be possible, that Tamiya would re-release it. It would be nice, if they re-release the King Blackfoot, because this is the stablest chassis of the old BF family.
  7. Nice. Last two days I worked on a new body shell for another WT-01 project in future (this chassis is only a dummy). It's a Nikko toy monster truck in 1:10, same dimensions as a Blackfoot. Also ABS plastic. It's too cold outside for painting, so I must wait some months to finish the project
  8. What is the name of the yellow rims? The looking good.
  9. @XVpilot: please post a picture of your trucks! I'm using steel pinions from robinson racings parts. Edit: ah I forgotten to ask. Is there alternative 2.2 rims? They must have a full negtive offset I think but which one???
  10. guys.... I mean this one: I already have Mud Thrasher, Masher 2000, oem Blackfoot. No one others? Traxxas Stampede Tires etc?
  11. Parts at asiatees.com The alloy chassis was made by german guy (in germany) ~ costs 70 euro + shipping. I have converted into alloy, because the motors have only 23t and that's not fast enough to make damages. I havn't get damage while I'm driving. I sometimes think about buying a new 2WD Wt01 again but using it for FAST driving (brushless + lipo) but I don't know if this is good. The truck is not the stablest and and sterring is direct, so every stone tosses the truck ot of route/direction. This is the problem which I have on my Blackfoot 3.
  12. Look on picture, the red marked points are the mounting points of the servo and the borken out, so I must use many big washer outside the chassis, terrible. To eliminate flex I use 100% alloy chassis, thats my BF3 now:
  13. Did your servo mounts broken? Is there a way to fix it? My was broken out of teh chassis.
  14. That's not realistic old school monster truck look!
  15. I know next to tamiya spike tires HPI Mud Thrasher and Proline Masher 2000. Are there any other tires with realistic monster truck look and good grip? Traxxas etc? I'm searching new tires for my truck for 2.2'' rims.
  16. There is a new WT-01 truck for 2015 Tamiya Amarok High Lift ;)
  17. I am using HPI Firebolts 15T and Tamiya Sport Tuned 23T. No problems. Sport tuned motors are compatible to 106BK ESC. Firebolts running good on Traxxas EVX-2.
  18. No seller, no firm, no distributor. A unknown private person makes this ins his "garage". Cost 60-70 € and is absolutly neat constructed.
  19. The defects I got after the first 5-8 rides. Completely stock. I have read often, that other drivers have same problems. I have changed all these parts and get a new truck, and I love it. It's my favorite truck in my collection.
  20. Servo Mounts broken Servo horn broken every screw in suspension arm comes out Shocks are bull**** plastic bearings wheels too small for 1:10 servo mount imprecise and "wobbles" The real problems of the chassis are: coming out screws, servo mounting and shocks. All earlier chassis of blackfoot and clod havn't this problem.
  21. Wt01/wr01 isn't stable. Many parts go broken (with stock motor). And its old. New chassis would be nice, new car, new possibilities.
  22. Haha I see dt03 on Google but I don't think that is a good chassis for blackfoot. Looks not like a monster truck. But could be a good base for a new chassis.

  24. I want to know, if Tamiya is ambitionated in re-releasing one of the old Blackfoots or Bush Devil etc? Do anyone hear something?
