  1. If it was in 1993 with the 58132 Pajero, wasn't that the same year as the F103 release with the Lotus 107B? We didn't even get a 15th anniversary edition CC01, much less a 20th or any cool special editions....
  2. Arrived today....A tale of two imprezas...
  3. Got some cool stuff today. rarely see the S2000 come up for sale, so had to get it. Completed my early 90s Civic trifecta with the JACCS and Idemitsu civics: Also have been waiting for a long time for one of these to pop up:
  4. The only one I've seen is the one in Singapore, and it wasn't huge, but they had a lot of stuff. Tons of semis, limited edition parts, and other goodies. I went in May and they had the red Lunchbox and HKS Skyline, when both weren't even sold in the west that I could see. Their prices varied, but I got a TA-05 M-Four for $150 USD; quite a good price, but others were just 'okay'.
  5. Thanks Tamico! Please a couple more arrivals.
  6. I never thought I'd be able to get one of these, as they seem to demand a huge premium, but I woke up one day and saw one reasonably priced but not too good to be true, and it was in even better condition than I would expect! I don't get lucky often with buys, but I'm still waiting for it to explode or disappear or something. Some other assorted goodies arrived too, not that this stuff is bad....hehe...but the Escort....man......good things do happen every now and again.
  7. Got a bunch of good things. Thanks to MCI Racing for some alternate decals: a Mampi Ford Capri, D&W Auto Ford Capri, a Silk Cut Jag, plus a few others to fit the 1/10 bodies. Also have coming the Castrol Honda Accord to fit the FF-03 stock version. Plus the Capri kit and bodies: A 156 Alfa. Probably my top five favorites for boxart, but I think if the real car had one tire up like this, it'd probably quickly need a repair. Daytona Thunder of course, the Dyna tech motor!
  8. Ooooo, I didn't know that Volvo was available yet....must check the store, thanks!
  9. Got some more items in the last week. Starting to run of kits I want; first world problems.
  10. More assorted kits arrived, but no particular plans for anything right now.
  11. I went on a bit of a spree this past Christmas, went on holiday for a while, and all this was waiting for me when I got back. I found the BMW in a South African hobby shop while there and stuffed it in my overweight luggage for the trip home.
  12. Thanks; I also noticed that in the fourth photo, the front cab and rear are slightly different colors. I don't think it's the light, but I'm guessing one or both did not belong to the kit, they were stored separately, or I don't know WTH I'm talking about. I bought a used Juggernaut 1 and it turned out to be from a smoking home, without any mention of this in the ad. No offense to smokers, but holy cow it reeked! I had to aerate that thing for months for the smell to mostly go away.
  13. Wow; that looks great. I was alive in '82, but I was only building the 1/20 models I could afford with my paper route.
  14. Here's the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamiya-Vintage-58028-Toyota-4x4-Pick-Up/392165952839?hash=item5b4ee98d47:g:hQYAAOSwydZcFQhd:rk:1:pf:1&frcectupt=true I could buy 10 semi trucks for that......
  15. I don't normally look at the really vintage kits, as they're out of my price range, but what's the going rate on a NIB 58028 Pickup? There's one on eBay right now and it looks good, but the box appears to have water damage, and would be around a 6/10.
  16. A seller in Korea is listing the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC on eBay right now: the XB, kit, and bodyset. 93043, 93044, and 93045 in small quantities. A search for 'Tamiya WRC' or i20 brings them all up.
  17. Dumb question: it seems pretty clear from the thumbnails which are multiples, but are there any hiding that are multiples? Awesome collection BTW.
  18. Got a new Asterion from Tamico: Which adds nicely to my pickup collection.
  19. I just got an email from them after the first saying it's been cancelled, this one asking for a bit extra for shipping, about $20USD, so I paid. My order for the kit no longer says cancelled, but just 'pending'. Thank you for shopping on Gmarket. Your insufficient amount of difference between the estimated and actual Worldwide Shipping fee is ₩21,530. Please make this payment as soon as possible to be shipped out. If you have any further inquiries, please contact to Customer Service Center. We will try our best to serve you in all ways possible. Thank you.
  20. I recently purchased one from Gmarket using PayPal and intended to ship to Virginia in the U.S., but I also got the email today saying that they could not ship the kit version internationally. Before the email, everything went okay: shipping, U.S. address, PayPal, but I guess not somehow.
  21. Received my Lancer VII. Which now completes my EVO Lancer collection (I think).
