Found some nice items for sensible money this week - just under £74 for the lot delivered. I had a DT-02 about 10 years ago and really liked it, bought for a TC race meeting and then couldn’t make, so ran it for a summer then moved it a long.

Just ran 1 pack through the BB, at a guess 15 minutes or so Kev, this was with a 3300 Overlander battery. I got caught up in the tennis court net a few times, managed to avoid the posts though, but somehow we did manage to clatter the cars into each other…broke the driver mounting bracket, extra crack in the windshield, nose cone and one of the front wings. No insurance details or blows were traded 😉

Die hard fan of raving, MOS and Ibiza BITD 😂 No pics from the day with Jeremy, will take some next time, too busy playing with toy cars and nattering 😂

Had a fantastic day with @Busdriver and our BB’s, both cars picked up some injuries on the day, but nothing that spoilt our fun. My wife is out tonight with some girlfriends, which gives me the perfect opportunity to get my Blitzer ready for the next chance I get to run it, Radio 1 is on in the background and I am one very happy boy -

Sounds like 4WD and decent ground clearance are going to need to top priorities. GF chassis recommendation is good shout.

I want durable and easy, low maintenance.

How are we getting on with the prospect of meeting up @lupogtiboy and @Elbowloh? I need to do some basic maintence on my Blitzer and XV, but other than that I’m ready to go!

The rerelease was great on the WR-02, cheap and plenty of Hop up options as well. The body posts needed some adjust to allow a decent fitting and it’s a bit tippy to drive as the weight is unevenly balanced, but nonetheless great fun. I saw a YT clip yesterday, where the guy used Comical Grasshopper rear arms which pushed the rear wheels out, and it then looked much more inline with the original model. I used Comical Grasshopper CVA’s on my shelf queen and the whole thing looked much better imo, not so hiked up.

After many, many years I have found a use to me for redundant kits boxes and I do like being tidy and organised 😂

Then I bought this tyre set NIP £15 delivered - figured they will come in useful when I meet up with @Busdriver next Wednesday for a chin wag and a bash - So all in all £65 well spent I believe 🎉✅

Nice fix, the mirrors are always the 1st thing to break on SS 🤦‍♂️

The nose cone and wipers are for a Blitzer Beetle, the Sand Scorcher nose cone is a little broader from memory.
