  1. An almost stock Candy Green GH, @KEV THE REV. Was a NIB I started a few months ago, really enjoying the build.
  2. Intrigued @jonboy1, King Cabs are well out of my price range these days. Pesky Kids πŸ˜‚
  3. Have you already tried the M06 gearbox on King Cab @jonboy1?
  4. Early days, running this one, but loving it so far πŸŽ‰ Looking forward to getting plenty of packs through it and adding some of the hop ups I have already bought over time. If all goes well, it’ll encourage me to rebuild the XV-01T πŸ‘ It’s now time to move back to the unfinished Grasshopper. Thank you everyone for your support, encouragement and tips πŸ‘
  5. I think it is ingenious the thought and design that goes into recreating and producing parts and upgrades for vintage RC’s personally. I’d liken them to resto mods on 1:1’s and I’m 100% behind people letting their imagination run wild and there is so much scope and room for everyone.
  6. Loving this @jonboy1 β¬†οΈπŸŽ‰πŸ‘
  7. Joyful, I’ve picked up many good deals over the years. It’s a bit like internet dating, most listings are honest, however some turn out to be stinkers πŸ˜‚
  8. I’ll post a picture of the stuff I used if that helps you. It is highly likely to be a TC recommendation.
  9. I probably would sell the lawnmower Kev, but it’s just had its 1st service since I bought it in 2008 😳
  10. Almost there chaps πŸ‘
  11. Quick run this afternoon in the back garden after finishing the decking and starting to break up the concrete πŸ˜‚ Few minor teething issues but feels like it will be a fun car to run -
  12. I’ve just been through this process with a full set of Rough Rider tyres. Liberally coated them in silicone lube, then put away in a sealed food bag for a month. When I took the tyres out of the bag I wiped the excess lube off, and left them to air dry. Came out really well, still old obviously but softer and nicer looking old
  13. If you get stuck Martin WA me, I’ve got a spare ESC and a reasonable choice of motors to choose from πŸ‘
  14. Minimum 170mm the wires need to be πŸ‘ If you get stuck I’ve got some you for wire or connectors let me know, I’ve got some @ home.
  15. I’m on the home stretch with my XV-01 and I bought some Street Rover tyres for my Blitzer Beetle, almost there as well πŸ‘

  17. 100% as the kids say these days πŸ˜‚ On the home stretch, body foams ordered last night, and looking forward to the shake down drive πŸ‘
  18. A little more progress tonight, it feels surprisingly heavy,. Right now probably over damped on the front, under on the rear, but it was driving and steering around the kitchen.
  19. Best gift my 1st wife gave me was signing the divorce papers November 2017 πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³
  20. Well you know what it’s like, 9 unfinished projects, so I thought why not start numbers 10 & 11 πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
  21. I think a round of applause is due here for patience and gentle persistence πŸ‘ @svenb your other hobby must be fishing 🎣
  22. Great collection there, making me feel Tamiya poor with 13 πŸ˜‚ I like the 2nd set of wheels the most, but it’s your build πŸ‘
