  1. Had a blast around our garden after cutting the grass with my Blitzer Beetle, very enjoyable, except that I seemed to hit every obstacle in it ๐Ÿ˜ณ, then started fitting the electrics to my XV-01.
  2. I bought the parts and never built the shocks to be fair, the tip would have come from another TC member or 2. I bought some RCChannel coil over shocks and they have been pretty good.
  3. The best fix for ReRe dampers is using TRF O rings and green slime. I can give you the part number later on today.
  4. Great work on these, earlyTamiya like these are more like actual models turned into r/c arenโ€™t they? Lots of small parts, really nicely detailed and not the type of r/c you want to be too heavy handed with.
  5. A group of Cheetahs is called a coalition ๐Ÿ˜‚
  6. Great photos ๐Ÿ‘ Howโ€™s the MV standing up to the regular use? Are you still enjoying it as much?
  7. Great builds SRB!s ๐Ÿ‘
  8. Thatโ€™s a great looking set up ๐Ÿ‘
  9. Hoping to pick this up again soon โฌ†๏ธ, now that Iโ€™ve almost finished the decking project -
  10. Great looking r/c this ๐Ÿ‘
  11. 100% all time ๐Ÿ˜‚
  12. A fantastic choice ๐Ÿ‘
  13. This might help a little -
  14. Thanks Kev, in my head the plan is to get all the weight in, ESC, servo, battery and then work backwards from there. Then set up the shocks, steering and body shell, what do you think?
  15. Agreed, looks too high unless itโ€™s on a forest stage ๐Ÿ˜‚ What grease/lube do you use here? The manual doesnโ€™t show to use any.
  16. The wheels sit nicely with the width of the body, however whichever wheel set I use one of the front wheels catches the inside edge of the wheel arch which is frustrating -
  17. Welcome back J ๐Ÿ‘ Hope you are keeping well and too catch up soon.
  18. Thatโ€™s great info @skom25, thank you. Iโ€™ll trial them later on today and let you know ๐Ÿ‘
  19. This should also be the last purchase required for the Grasshopper - I donโ€™t have very many โ€˜Tโ€™ tools but those that I have I really enjoy using ๐Ÿ˜Š
  20. Hopefully these are the last purchases required for the XV-01..
  21. Coming along very nicely ๐Ÿ‘
  22. Ok, so pleased with these - ยฃ4.20 all in and some elbow grease. In all fairness, Iโ€™ve had to use 4 modern screws and glue a split in a front tyre. Iโ€™ll probably do the tyre lettering and then my spending has increased by ยฃ3.59 ๐Ÿ˜‚
  23. Shocks and road wheels are now on - tyre foams fitted as well. Would you glue the tyres? Shocks are all wrong ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ, the front is too bouncy and the rear end slaps - Iโ€™ll wait until the electrics are in and work back from there ๐Ÿ˜ณ
