Brilliant, awesome and amazing. The whole thing was just on the money. Well done to all those involved.

Very, very cool. Great collection, great video, awesome track selection to complement them.

Sad old man that I am, I bought myself a Beattie's kit bag which arrived the other day. Since we are taking the odd R.C car on holiday it seems a good idea to keep it and all the kit together in one place! Very happy with this purchase £18 well spent. -
I fitted an ESC and radio gear to our Volvo Globetrotter and I had it wheel spinning and hooning about out the front tonight, very pleasing! If the weather is nice we can have some fun on Sunday with it....
-
Thanks chaps for all the info and feedback. I appreciate it.

Feels like ages since I've tinkered in the garage. Just listed a load of stuff on eBay and played around with one of the TA GT1s today. Just cleaned it up and stripped out some of the Ol Skool electrics.

I'm in the U.K, I'll sit tight then. I was going to sell one chassis anyway and keep the other for the 037 shell. I did buy one of the early Lancias on the Brat chassis, so there is a back up plan if all else fails!
-
Oh dear, I've still not bought my shell, looks like I've missed the boat unless I pay over the odds. I will have 2 TA03RS GT1s coming up for sale soon by the sound of it!

Ok, sorry for the slow upload and poor lighting on the photo.
-
That is fab info, I couldn't have asked for better-Thank you. I'll post up a photo of it and look at it properly tonight.
-
I've still not built a kit yet, so I would be very happy with a L.B, I really like the Black editon. If Santa is feeling very kind then the dream model is a Blazing Blazer.....
-
Thats really interesting. I know that the Celica Gr.B and Porsche 959 came with them, I was under the impression these were hot motors that had some sort of Kudos to them. Are they not that good or is just that there are better motors out there?
-
I've just bought a Tamiya with one of these motors in it. I'll test it later on today, but I have no doubt it will run. I understand these are relatively sought after, does anyone know what these are worth roughly? I know it can be very subjective and down to the laws of demand etc. Just a guide value would be fab?

Awesome looking WW! I particularly like photo 4 and 5.

1 Vintage Nissan King Cab with some goodies. 1 Ol' Skool Lancia 037. 1 TA03RS GT1 Porsche and loads of kit. I'll add them to my showroom over the next week or so. -
Finally got my Silver Hilux running with 4 gears around the garage tonight which was very satisfying. Unpacked and checked over my 3 new arrivals as well. Need to look them over properly ASAP.
-
Thanks J.W I'd be happy to do that for you, I just need to make the decision to come.
-
I've still got a few gaps in my collection believe it or not I had never considered the DT02 range, but I really like the H.Bs that have been showcased recently I should sell some more before buying anything else..its getting out of hand again!! But if this event goes well and another is planned, I will be the 1st in the queue.

Super Gripper, I'm hoping to come down on Sunday and spectate.. is this possible? If I'm there I'm happy to help out with the day as well.
-
So I've put the 037 wheels and tyres on my TA03 RS chassis, but it doesn't look very rally. It still sits low and close to the road still alas the GT1 that it was. What is the way to make it look more authentic? It needs to be raised IMO.
-
Great value at that level. No doubt about it. Our XBF gets the most use of all our Tamiyas.

One sold on eBay a couple of months ago for £150 plus post and packing. -
Same here on the mesh and lights. It look pretty fast in the videos, we had an Xtreme B.F with a standard silver can and it was pretty dull. Our other Xtreme basher has been uprated and it's a whole lot more fun, I couldn't tell you what motor we run as it was just a spare that was kicking around.

They look good, the sidewalls are a bit on the tall side visually on my MT2 tyres IMO.
