XV01/TA06 Diff gasket x 2 51464 XV01/TA06 Steel bevel gears set x 1 54428 Or XV01/TA06 Plastic bevel gear set x2 51460 Some these parts are interchangeable with the M08 & M07. If you got any of these parts spare you want to sell or trade then please let me know. Ideally UK, thank you 👍

Thanks! I figured I wanted to build some Tamiya kits and I’ve picked up a couple of cheap ones to scratch that itch.

And this, which is probably the least interesting to me chassis and body set I could have bought. However it looks to be complete, with decal sheet, ESC, etc, just 1 diff has been built. £70 delivered was the reason I bought it -

A pair of 85mm Fasttax shocks. Pretty sure @KEV THE REV recommended these for the rear end on a Lunchbox. £16.34 inc delivery eBay.

Like most TC members I have significantly more wheels and tyres than I have models…anyhow I sold one set of 4 last night 💥 Small wins as they say 😂

White Orange Neon Yellow are the only colours I can think of. I’m pretty sure these wheels will not take dye.

Just changed the title last night from - ‘Tips & advice needed for removing rusty screws’. Now there’s no more rusty screws, it’s time to put it back together 💥

@taffer - do you recognise the GF01? You sold it to me back in 2015 and then Andy bought it from me 👍

Should I be looking at any upgrades to the diffs before I go any further? The GV parts are a white plastic, part 51460 I’ll need new gaskets, the old ones look great, but I suspect reusing them is a poor idea. Do the gaskets need any additional sealant? Final question - diff oil? Recommendations please.

Last 3 parts to dismantle - in truth I suspect if I put the obsessive GP away then these parts will work just fine with a good soak in WD40 and a clean up. Taking them apart any further will damage the parts and mean more cost and delays. Somehow what started out as a cheap quick project has now doubled in cost and taken months to get this far, I really should know better by now 😭 I was tempted to stick it the classifieds this weekend, whilst I’m almost there, I’m not quite there yet 😳
