  1. I'd say that's about right, I too bought a TA03RS car last week for £75 delivered. It came with a Porsche body which is in great condition but that's all I got over and above your deal.

All you need now is the body set, wheels, tyres and paint and you'll have a 'proper' 037.

I emailed rallylegendsrc.com the other day and am just waiting to hear back on shipping prices. If you like, I can ask them if 2 sets would be cheaper?

Here's where I'm up to so far:

I'm up for multi buys Steve.

I will need body set, wheels and I really fancy some lights!

I don't think my will TA will be as nice as yours, fingers crossed it decent though.

  2. Ok, so I'm totally obsessed with this link and the 037.. I have too say all the fun Grastens has with his Lancia have got me hooked.

I took the plunge and I bought a used TA03RS complete as a no runner, as I can now see from the thread I could run it with out the expensive belt that drives the front wheels.

Does £78 inc post and packing sound like a lot of money to pay for the chassis etc, the car looks to be complete. I have no idea, but I have a feeling this will be an expensive build.

  3. Took two of my girls to the park with our Re Re S.S had some fun with the local pooches!

I took a good look at our Vintage Clod and realised it had motors, ESC and servo, I put and R/X and battery in it and it runs, result.

That's the problem with buying these things and sticking them on a shelf or in a corner out of the way.

  4. Yeah I started this thread when my blood was up, venting my frustration. It's all water under the bridge now.

Genuinely i wanted to say thanks for sharing your opinions guys, it's good to get someone else's take on a situation. It can be hard to step back and take a fresh look when you're still annoyed. I mean, why am I moaning... as bad eBay trades go I'm not actually out of pocket at all and it was resolved in 30 mins. I'm sure we've all had a lot worse right?

Must learn to let irrelevant stuff go... chill out man... go drive some cars :)

Top man mr crispy lets get back on track/topic....what are you going to build next?

  5. I wasn't trying to be harsh if you read my post above this one grumpy pants I was trying to point out that his feedback esp negative doesn't suggest its a regular thing that he tries to mess his customers about. no harshness there esp if you re read what I put above it.

    Hi sabreuk1,

I agree with you the seller has really strong feedback with a tiny amount of negative feedback, which is quite an undertaking on eBay.

I didn't think you are being harsh at all and I think your post was on the money.

    Best wishes

    G.P.

  6. Ok, I ordered the replacement parts for my Savage, which wasn't too painful.

I booked myself in for an eye test as I can't believe I drove the Savage into the rugby post yesterday.

Packed away all my stuff from yesterday's outing and tightened up the S.S front arm which came loose and stopped play.

I have decided to get our vintage Clod running, I think I've got most of what I need in spares and my daughter is keen to use it!

  7. Awesome day, lots and lots of family all out and together.

The XB.F and WW2 had a good outing, the S.S was tucked away after 1 battery use as the front suspension came loose.

And the Savage was absolutely fantastic until I drove into a rugby goal post..so a few jobs to do on that one now!

  8. Personally for high value items I use Royal Mail - item insured and to be signed for . Ok so its expensive but IMO the best of a very mixed bunch .

You are probably right on this one, but at least twice the cost and definitely not a dead cert either.

I received my last Hilux via then P.O and it arrived well beyond the paid for date and it looked like it had been to a war zone on the way to me.
