1. City Link via parcelmonkey.co.uk have never let me down.

I used Citylink a lot and then a Lunchbox went missing and they were a sod to deal with, this was through Parcel Monkey as well.

That's why I switched to Hermes who until now have been really good.

I always insure and get items signed for, I guess it all comes down to the individuals who handle your parcels and the law of averages.

  2. I have had several parcels from myhermes.

one looked like it had been used as a football.

one was left out in the rain

the other was abandoned somewhere near my door.

I do not like myhermes and never recommend them to anyone.

Its fair to say that myherpes do not have the best of reputations. They may be cheap , they collect from your address ect but personally there is no way I would trust a high value item to their care .

So who do you use and recommended?

  3. I bought this just over 2 weeks ago and it was collected by the courier on the 12th August and it has not been seen since.

I am totally gutted as you can imagine,

I have no doubt it will resurface sometime soon and its fairly distinctive, please would you let me know if it pops up for sale or anyone spots it.

  4. Unusual day for me today, I have few days left of my holiday and I spent most today doing Tamiya stuff.

Mostly cleaning and assembling my Black Brat which is now very close to be finished and running.

I listed a few bits for sale on the 'Bay and put a Hilux up for sale as well.

Happy Dayz, bit of a one off day, but very nice all the same.

  5. We run an old Blackfoot Xtreme with uprated motor.

It goes really well and gets a lot of use/abuse, as parent I can recommend this model for durability, fun and it is cheap to fix.

I did consider a twin motor set up, but I decided it was less maintaince as it is. And the longer running times suit us better.

We use it on the beach, golf course, etc, etc.

  6. I put the last of my chargers and a Blackfoot and the Bay today.

I'm interested to see how I get on with those, I think August is a slow month for selling, but we will see.

I went out the front with my 6 year old we we raced our WW2 around for a bit, but she was determined to break it, so time was called early on that escapade!

  7. Now that has got my attention!

I read this on redrc.net... "Next up is the 1973 Porsche 911 RSR, again on the TT-02 chassis but this time in short wheelbase configuration."

Can anybody tell me how they make the TT-02 chassis a SWB version? I have an XV-01 that I love and think this would sit rather well on it... just need to work out if it can be shortened.

    WOW,WOW,WOW,WOW!!!
