Lotus 79 hard plastic body re-release?
stonestream replied to TamTom's topic in Re-Release Discussions
This Lotus 79 body set was a limited (it has the 49xxx part number - 49222) re-release some years ago - same as the more common 1/12 Toyota Celica LB Turbo body set. So not really vintage. Another one was sold for 75Euros (BIN) a few days ago (sadly i missed it). It comes with two decal sheets - one for the hard plastic (A) and one for the lexan body (B ). The second one is smaller because you only need the decals for the rear wing once. So no Essex decals included. -
OP-387 is 53387. It's the same chassis.

But the Porsche 935 front wheels are too narrow for the rear axle of the 934. Maybe these are modified ones at the picture.

These are the front wheels of the Porsche 935 (58002).

Hi Anduu, welcome to TC! Nice Porsche. Yes, the gear case with the RS 540 motor (SP-1059) was an option part (or upgrade) for the 934. The speed controller isn't also the one which came with the kit but is an option part which fits to the 540 motor (the speed controller was first introduced with the 58005 Lamborghini Countach LP500S - so it was available back then as spare part SP-1054). Cheers, Andreas

Sometimes it's just dumb luck. Martini Porsche 935 content inside

Thanks for sharing the restoration of your Porsche with us. I think it's a good idea to switch to a modern setup. The old 3 speed MSCs a really horrible compared to a modern stepless ESC. Maybe the Sports Tuned motor makes the 935 a little bit "overpowered", because the the chassis suspension isn't the best (like a "bouncing ball"). -
