If memory serves me right the protrusions are for the mechanical speed controller and resistor.

With a bit of fiddling the rear arms from a TA04ss should give you 251mm. You'll need to drill out the rear uprights to 3mm and use the TA04 suspension shafts, fine tune with spacers in-between the upright and arm

I did put a Capri body on it but used a different body(can't remember which type) when I tried racing it. Ended up shortening it to use a HPI Stratos body, tyres choice was a massive factor in how it ran, think I used 22 on the rear and 30 up front.

I'm very partial to a M04 and yours looks great. Spare chassis parts are becoming hard to find though. I converted one to use the long span suspension arms, had to make a custom damper mount for it to work. Used a couple of chassis spacers to make it work for a touring car body.

Several things Remember that it's come from Hong Kong so the fee is in HK dollars. Secondly, you can't go bragging about a "big" RC mart order and not share some pics! And thirdly, yes always in the dog house 😳

Excellent 👌🏻 The grey dampers look to me like 53571 TRF and the blues' 42102 . I think blue always looks mint with the grey chassis. I used titanium step screws for the upper camber links with ball nuts rather than use ball connectors or the long step screws. If you want any of the wheel axles I'll have some in a spares box, next to my "spare" blue gold😅

Body painted Pleased with the outcome, just red(PS2) was too bright so backed with ps12 silver then red again.
