I've used fluorescent orange with success but that was backed with red. I did find the paint consistency is thinner so had a run. Yellow paint is a shocker for covering ๐ used two cans on a Daytona Thunder but i never backed that with anything other than more yellow. What body are you doing? Or is it a secret ๐คซ

Photos not in time order. Decided to go blue with the hop ups, almost there with finding them just the dampers to acquire (49037).

Obviously the L version isn't a match for the steering turnbuckle hop up, surprised it didn't state it on the pack!?. Felt rough over the last week or so and have finally finished the chassis. Body next soon as the decals arrive.

Thanks to @ChrisRx718 slightly longer adjusters worked๐๐ป

Great build ๐๐ป I may have missed it but is there a unique TA08โR" feature? I've found that the R versions I have have a unique item , can't remember them all but off hand but there's the TA06 R right hand side steering joint ,TB03R steering IFS aluminium bridge and the M08R chassis weight.

Well, I cried for a bit then looked on eBay for a different length turnbuckle, couldn't find a Tamiya one ๐so going to try the longer adjusters(Tamiya) as they are 25mm long . Fingers crossed they work.

Thank you Mr Pants๐๐ป I've hit apon a problem though. The turnbuckle for the steering is to short!! Obviously the hop up doesn't work with the L configuration.

Was only looking at one of these this evening. Will enjoy watching your build๐

Yes, it's happened to me a few times always by Fedex. Problem starts when they deliver to the wrong address and they have a "signature" to say you signed for it!!

I'm after a couple of the long type adjusters 51283 if anyone has any spare? Just to try and extend a steering turnbuckle shaft, I've hit a problem ๐
